hello my name is steve rice with crescent design and i'm here to show you how to prime your new HB LT smart manifold and vacuum purge adapter system that you have here when you received it it was completely empty of all fluid and it's important to prime it to remove as much air as possible from the system so we have provided you with this tubing set whom we call the multi purge port adapter actually it's multi port purge adapter and it allows you to connect all the ports simultaneously to a water source what we're going to do is we're going to use the vacuum purger and we're going to connect it to the top and create a vacuum which will cause the water to be drawn into the bpa the vacuum purge it after out of the epa and through these tubes into the smart manifold and then it will conduct it out of the manifold out of this quick disconnect fitting into the vacuum purger so the first thing we're going to do is we're going to remove this dust cap from here and attach this adapter now in the future these fittings might look different they might be smaller but the function will be the same on the vacuum Verger we're going to remove this adapter and we're just simply going to screw it in to this adapter right here so I need to evacuate the vacuum pressure will use this vacuum pump your pump may look somewhat different but it serves the same purpose and now we're going to evacuate so I've run the the perjurer up to close to 20 inches initially it's not very important what how how deep it goes but that's that's adequate so now we attach the quick disconnect and now we've applied a vacuum to the plumbing in this system so what I'm going to do now is I'm going to go through and I'm going to open all of these ports simultaneously and you'll be able to see in a rotate this so you can see better the fluid being drawn you so you notice the spurting you'll notice the air and the tube and in the container as it's drawing the fluid into the bottom and up through the manifold and into the vacuum burger so this is the initial pass where we have all of them open it's just a big gross priming of the system we're going to go back and we're going to do the port's individually in just a moment once we've flowed a lot of fluid through the system right now one of the things we want to be careful of is we do not want this fitting to become uncovered we don't want it to come out and draw more air into the system so we're pretty low I'm gonna go now and close all of the valves good okay so now I'm going to vent the container...
