hey everybody what's up it's real-estate Jake here so as per your request what we're gonna do is we're gonna go through the how to fill out the application form for a new salesperson it can be very very confusing and you can get you know mixed directions from everybody about how to do it but I've gone through it I just finished it I submitted I'm officially registered with Rico and so I'm gonna walk you through that process if you have any questions you can just comment below you can find me out on Instagram and Facebook Jake's turn real estate you can email me Jake stern at Royal LePage dossier I'd love to be able to help you again in the description below I'm gonna link the RICO application okay so we're gonna be walking through that right now hope this helps message me if you have any questions okay everybody so we're gonna be walking through how to register as a new salesperson after you finish your training through Humber colleges real estate sales persons program so you're just gonna go to your browser rico dot o-- n dot c-- a click on the browser from here all the way down become a real estate salesperson and then from here you'll see the three steps complete the registration education requirements which we've already done and at this point register with rico so then through rico here you're going to get this application you can just go ahead and download that application for now we're just going to download it onto the desktop hit save great and then from here we're going to move down and we're going to open up the application here so the application will open up in preview or whatever application you do have on your computer and from here we can just go through this application and type it all in so you'll notice here that you have sections where you can actually type in information this is really useful for people who don't have a printer for myself I ended up typing in all of these boxes and you'll notice here that right here you're going to need the registered name of your employer so obviously before you register you do have to already have that prospect of working with a brokerage and so for me I was where I'm working with were LePage Hillary Liddy so I was able to put that information in here I asked I asked the administrative assistant for the brokerage registration number and so you just type it in like that really simple section B we're gonna look at quickly we are a new registration so I simply put a little asterisks there and I typed in my student ID number as well that can be found on the Humber Humber College real estate sales person's website and as well here you're gonna now be able to type in your formation so you know just fill in a basic application your legal name trade name you know my my legal first name is Jacob spelt with the K and I did not I don't want that to be my trade name so I ended up putting in my name here like so and then we had trade name here Jake Stern date of birth pretty straightforward right here section see we're gonna look at this is actually going to be your brokerage business address where you can be handed any legal documents if needed so I had my address I put in here again very very simple to fill this out and we're gonna go ahead and move on to the next couple pages right here section d notice of consent what you're consenting to little check see as I do that it checks yes so very easy to navigate the electronically rather than printing it out then here I typed in all the information so name of the employer let's say I was working at Tim Hortons previous to this I'm gonna say say I'm Hortense Hortense but Timmy's would be funny too you know I would say let's say this was my job perfect and then we're gonna you know you can type in you know from what date - what date it's from 2019 Oh - OH - to 2020 Oh - OH - all right so I'm typing in when I worked and they want the the history for the previous two years you'll see here two years history so that's as far as you have to go back only two years okay great so then moving on to this next page here this is just reviewing right you're you're you're giving some disk your questions here right stuff like are you or will be are you gonna be in registered license engage in employment in any other business occupation or profession so I actually said yes to this you know I'm gonna currently I'm gonna work at a job for a little bit so if I said yes you're gonna see if you ask refer to page four you'll fill the rest of this out but let's say if you're in this position and you are going to be working part-time somewhere else while you're starting up real estate prefer to page four for completion okay I'll look at that later right here education requirements right here you're gonna have to successfully complete the course we already know that ooh remind me tomorrow I always hit remind me tomorrow I never actually update it's always remind me tomorrow and right here you're going to look at the registration here the new registration transcript must indicate successful completion so let's just look at this let's highlight this for a second so this is something that you have to attach when you are sending an email in the transcript so that's something that we're going to be able to you can find that on the Humber College real estate sales persons page okay so there we go we have that and now we're going to be moving on to the next page here so completing the instructions right here employment history did that question one remember when I said we were going to look back if you're looking at this here you know I answered yes so because I answered yes here about the employment right here if you have answered yes the following information requires okay is the full name of the business as well as your position held you know and if it involves that activity if it involves trade found under the Act which mine doesn't you have to complete the Job Description but in this particular case all I had to do is tell them that my current job title where I'm working just so they know my plans that way anyways then we're gonna be going here number six we have to submit a current Canadian criminal record and judicial matters check now that's something that you're going to be able to find at your local police station you can ask to get that sent it for you and checked and that that you're also going to submit through the email now I want to bring attention to something before we move forward here let me just back out of this and go back to the website here so looking at the website here you're gonna notice something right up here form submissions so because of everything that's going on with Co vid previously you had to mail in your original Canadian criminal record in judicial matters check you do not have to do that you can do it electronically right they're currently accepting scans of the original documents electronically and again every part of your registration gets sent to this email address so criminal records check and judicial matters check can be electronically scanned and sent in so we're gonna go back here to the application again and just go over the remainder parts of it registration fees now there is a fee to register with Rico as a new salesperson so very simple you can click here for fee schedule now I'm gonna open this up and you're gonna see new salesperson five hundred and ninety dollars that is your fee that you're going to be typing in and you're going to be paying and again the way you can pay these fees it's fairly simple you can either do it with a credit card and you have the card holders name put the credit card number in here fairly simple the month alright the little code on the back and then your signature and then the date as well these little bubbles pop up it's really handy actually that these little bubbles can pop up and you can type in information as you see fit so again click you you can click there for the fee schedule payments can be made by check bank draft money order Visa or MasterCard made payable to relocate real estate Council Ontario this only applies to the check or money order or bank draft if it's Visa or MasterCard you don't have to worry about that and then after that right you're going to be sending every part of your registration to registration at Rico dot o n dot CA and that is how to fill out the application I hope this was helpful thank you for spending the time if you have any questions you can go ahead and make comments below [Music] you [Music]
