without ever increasing reliance on our phones of our desktops or laptops current phones are becoming less of a companion to our pcs a model of stand-alone devices that may even be more effective than their bigger counterpart at times we now literally have the world at our fingertips one area where the phones lag behind is with productivity while we probably won't see anyone writing essays are editing large videos on their phones anytime soon we can print and scan from our printers so long as they are accessible over the home network in this video I'll show you how to do just that through the use of two simple little apps from the Play Store firstly make sure that you pin to switched on and is connected to your home network once it is ready switch over to your Android phone on your phone head to the Play Store and search HP I'll have a look down in the description in either places you should see two apps the HP eprint app and the all-in-one printer emo the EPA app is mainly geared towards printing and the all-in-one app is mainly geared towards scanning pick up one of these apps our birth depending on what you want to do with your printer from your phone I'll be going through both of these apps but first I'll head through the epin app setting up these apps are really simple just tap skip allow or disallow the data collection and then tap Done a pump should then show up about printing over NFC feel free to do this if your printer is NFC enabled but mine isn't after tapping got it you can go ahead and start printing straightaway by either choosing a photo file on the page from the web on this page after choosing a file to pin you'll get a wide array of really impressive print options that really put apple's airprint to shame in my opinion you can choose to crop the image you're printing rotate it and even set how the image will show out on the printout color options and more I've also found here after you were done just hit print scanning to your phone is also available on HP printers through the use of the all in one remote app setup by simply waiting for bit tapping continue and then tapping on your printer check it out unchecking the send info to HP toggle and then person ok after tapping donee should see this screen he can either scan from your printer or using the phone's camera there is a printing option in here although is not nearly as good as the ePrint app to scan an image using your printer simply tap scan settings for the scan can be seen here if that is all fine tap on preview adjust the scan borders and then scan after scanning you can either add more jobs or tap now I'm done from here share it or save it previously scanned documents can be found in the print and share then documents to scan from the camera lay your document on the table and then snap a picture of it now make sure the image boundaries are correct and then press the tick at the top they'll teat the document if you want and then tap the tick again that's about it for the apps I hope you found this video helpful if you have any comments or questions be sure to leave them down below also be sure to hit that like and subscribe button for future how-to videos hopefully come in every Wednesday thanks for watching and I'll see you in the next video
