hey what's up it's Mike from Eric Schlosser tingling to talk about how you can reduce the number of spam calls and robo calls from digitizers and other people you don't like hear from and get time back for your stuff and stop wasting time and your workday so if you're like me you know your ice cream shop you probably get 1015 calls a day from these guys are any of your time up you know do you do embroidery do you need digitizing services XYZ and you know it's so bad that my god Pete is even he's hitting them with the airhorn when they call and do his shop in New York will show you the video from Pete real quick if you so peep this out I'm sorry so you can either beat him with the air horn or you can beat him you know by trying to trick them and so what I did recently was I changed our phone tree originally we had a phone tree we got to doubt in it was like hey this is Mike thanks converge monster press 1 for this press 2 for this we got rid of it all I did was make a really really basic phone tree probably play it for you real fast it just says thanks for calling America monster for new words press 1 for existing words press 2 it actually brings the same phone tree as before there's just one step in between the person calling and getting to a person I'm gonna take you guys into violence real fast show you how we have it set up it's stupid simple we're gonna laugh when you see how simple it is to cut all these calls so the first thing is let's see we'll play the message thank you for calling lunch monitor for new order press 1 your point link about existing order ok ultramel so simple real fast message I want people to get through the phone tree so and then if you notice we'll just scroll back up to the phone tree it says I accept the menu commands press 1 for new orders perhaps 2 for existing words they booked through the same call group that rings with all the phones in our office so we just looked at the the menu structure here super super simple press 1 or press 2 for newer existing orders they both go the exact same place the same caller group that went to previously but now we just have a very short buffer in between and that happens to get rid of all the spam calls all we'll call so really really easy to set this up in Vantage take you 15 minutes 30 minutes I did it when I was sitting in an airport lounge and I was like hey I need to do something with my time let me try this I tried it it works hopefully it works for you give it a shot
