hey youtubers jb coins here with another video in this video we will talk about some rare and collectible paper money how to find them and what to look for but first if you're new to the channel please subscribe and hit the notification button so you'll be notified whenever we post a new video live stream or have a giveaway also check out our link down below this video and in the upper right hand corner to our website store jb coins ink.com where we have the coin lists and links to helpful products we use that you can buy from those links so we recently did a poll on what do you collect and most almost 50% of the people said they're collecting coins and paper money we're receiving tons of questions about different bills so we decided to shoot a video about a very interesting and highly collectible bills because of their rarity and the bills I'm referring to are web notes and what you see before you are crisp for crisp uncirculated web notes now web notes are a type of US currency named after the web printing production method of printing on continuous rolls of paper and I like the way newspapers are printed there are several types of web printing production however high pressure web intaglio printing front and back of the intaglio process was a totally new idea between 92 and 96 the Bureau of Engraving and printing experimented to see if a web press that used continuous rolls of paper was quicker and cheaper than intaglio printing which used flat sheets the affected notes are dollar bills from series 1988 a series 1993 and series 1995 they are legal tender and are not considered error notes although they are valuable due to their rarity now how to identify web notes a currency note that was printed on a web press referred to as a web note can be identified by a very distinct characteristic the printing number is above its next two in god we trust' you can see that on all of those bills on a conventional note that we're used to the plate number or the location on the sheet actually is below the word one in the lower right hand corner as opposed to up here on the web note so the following images illustrate the differences the top note in each image is a web note the bottom note is a sheetfed note webnotes were made for three series of dollar bills 1988 a 1993 and 1995 all of them are very collectible notes as always condition is key but in this case also the series of the series series 1988 a dollar bills hold the two key issues issues with the most collector value notes from that series include the New York Federal Reserve Bank and the Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank Federal Reserve Bank of New York used the B L serial number block while Federal Reserve Bank Atlanta used a star note serial number Block F ending in in a star note while an accurate print run has never been disclosed by the Bureau of Engraving and printing as the figures were combined with the intaglio runs estimates are 1 million nine hundred and twenty thousand notes for the b2 l serial number block for Federal Reserve Bank New York and six hundred and forty thousand for the f2 star note serial number block from Federal Reserve Bank Atlanta Webb notes can be graded and can be auctioned so if you like paper money then you have another one look for we hope you liked the video please leave comments below let us know if you liked them knew about them maybe even collect them as always please like share subscribe and until next time J&B signing out
