hello everyone this is trevor bates with pds equipment today i'm going to be doing a video showing y'all how to print on these coasters i'm going to go over how to do jig print and how i'm going to set everything up so we're going to go in rational link going to create our jig outline set our coasters down and then print our image right to the coasters i went ahead and got my clear gloss set up [Music] first thing i'm going to do now so i'm going to go over to the jig print [Music] next i will go to the top of jig print and i'm going to create a new jig so you can name this anything you want to name it these coasters are 3.20 by 3.20 so i'm going to call this 3.20 coaster i then have to hit the green plus button to add that to my system i now can define my jig so the first thing i do when i'm in jig print is i'm going to go to material size and i'm going to define that 3.20 by 3.20 and now that's the size of my coaster i'll zoom out for y'all to see a little bit the print area in the bed i'm only going to do four so there's no reason to have this many underneath material size you'll see something called counts i'm going to bring that down to four so now i've got my four coasters laid out if you wanted to separate these a certain size that's where you would be using interval and pitch so interval and an interval pitch you're going to take the material size of 3.20 plus whatever size you want in between them so if you wanted a half inch we would put 3.70 here on our width so i'll go ahead and do that so now i'm going to have a half inch in between each coaster now it's really easy we've got our paper laid out on the bed we're going to go ahead and send this jig template to print we're going to go to the top and go print the jig outline it's going to ask which printer we click print that's going to automatically send the jig outline to the printer so it has just finished printing my jig outlines the next thing i'm going to do is set the coasters so i've got the coaster set i'm gonna come back into jig print just to double check one thing i'm going to hit the center button on this layout and when i go back to jig layout at the top i can view it so that's going to show my coasters i will do copies 4 and i should be ready to go so now i will hit rip and print and send it over to the printer finished product a little bit of gloss clear on top very simple to do once again this is trevor bates with pds equipment you all have any questions at all feel free to give me a call i'm here to help
