[Music] so [Music] [Laughter] [Music] what's going on youtube tony here back again with another video this is gonna be an update on my dual tech radio for 149 dollars that i got on wall marker is the model number you guys heard it this thing was banging and i have it fully installed in my car this is a 2015 kia forte it's got like 36 000 miles on it um but yeah i made this video a while back uh when i first got it i think it was like two months ago uh when i got this radio and i did a video on it uh when i actually got it and talked about it but i didn't do an installation on it and i wanted to go back and show you guys the video um see if i could find it i'm looking for right now i'm gonna try to find it and there it is right there so you can see the video when i first got this car stereo and i kind of uh did a you know unboxing a quick unboxing on it i'll probably link it at the top somewhere but i did get this radio you can see when i got it what was it where did i get this um [Music] it was like two months ago if i'm mistaken if i'm not mistaken two months ago i got this radio let me let me check real quick to be for certain but i believe i got it like two months ago let me go to my channel videos and let me go through it real quick and i see that it gives me the date on here that's why i come back to this one yeah there it is you can see there two months ago so i got tons of people wanting to see the finished product and heart turned out and how it's been working does it sound good i can tell you that they claim that it is 200 watts and it does bang the 200 watts man i'm not gonna light a seven inch screen people were also worried about the quality all the pixels light up real nice right now you can see i do have my iphone plugged in so um apple carplay is on i love it because you can get your your text messages your imessages your calls everything on here not only that this is a touch screen this is a real deal touch screen so android auto also i haven't really messed with android auto but let's jump into some other here's the questions that i got i got like how many questions that i get on your comments got like 50 comments 46 thumbs up and you can see a couple of the comments how did it turn out turned out excellent i did get the mounting kit so the radio originally is totally different so this comes with the mounting this is the mounting kit that comes with it also came with the wiring harness so i was waiting for that to come in so i could install the radio i wish i would have installed it or i wish i would have recorded it while i installed it but it came out real good it blends in with all the dash uh so i believe i got this on amazon i'll have the link down in the description below as far as the radio i got it at walmart there's the model number it comes with a remote let me show you the remote you can see the r thing there it got the home button the volume up uh mute power volume down you got the microphone for siri so you can see siri pops up you can accessory questions uh here is the remote you can also press it to activate siri so it's pretty cool so one thing about this is that oh a vet holst one thing about this is that uh once i installed this this uh aftermarket radio i realized that um my steering wheel buttons no longer work so do you have an issue with that uh you know it's up to you if you want to just use a remote because i like the remote i plan on mounting mines right here with a magnet so i can easily put it on or off i mean i got a magnet right here but i want one right here so i could just pull grab it fiddle with the radio while i'm driving instead of looking down and whatnot but apple carplay works excellent on here you can see i got the maps i got the other apps on here you can change this up now i think there is settings and you can change the wallpaper now to the to the apple carplay um android auto i haven't really tinkered with it much i've been using my other my iphone a lot a little bit more um but yeah it turned out real good it sounds real good no static no buzzing none of that the display as you can see sounds real good it's just two months later the auto quality it does get am fm radio um let me go back here where we so so go back to the radio here's radio so it does have am fm radio i got everything preset it's got am you got a built-in equalizer which you can modify it i really don't tinker with it it sounds great just like that i mean it bangs it definitely bangs better than my stock radio that was in here so i don't i don't i haven't messed with it be honest um when it comes to the settings or not right now it sounds real good to my ears and yeah so then we have go back home you got the usbc which i have mine's here i got it routed it just just came over here this cable comes with it that's the only usb input that you have and you can see on there's just carplay and android auto it definitely works good i got my iphone connected and that's where i put it um there's a couple downsides and i will get to them in a second but the radio sounds good the install great um the touch sensitivity on here we'll go to now playing you can see the touch sensitivity it works real good it skips to the songs real good i got the i got it the volume turned down because i don't want to get copyright uh the first audio that you heard was uh non-copyright but everything on here you can see it's just it's it's real uh the touch sensitivity is excellent on it when it comes to you know using that you can see scrolling scrolling on here and go back so so yeah it works great um i love it um now the downsides to it i'll be honest you lose your steering wheel controls you lose your overhead mic that goes right here but i think i did an unboxing i unbox that i showed you guys that it does come with a little external mic that you have to route so that's what i did i routed the usbc no the usb uh plug there and then i routed this microphone that i have right here it's probably hidden you probably can't see it too good but i routed it all along the front of a panel there and i wrote it underneath the dash and it plugs into the back of the radio you can see it on the first video which i'll link up above there so you guys can check it out um but yeah the radio works great um if you want an update um on the radio as far as android auto i'll probably use android auto if you want me to to test out the radio but i know that apple carplay works phenomenally good on here and i love the remote uh to activate the assistant to pause you could even make a call with it you can dial it out you press it and you see what you want to call to and it works great so there it is the dual tech uh seven-inch receiver that i have here i plan on later on let me unplug my phone real quick so yeah i disconnected later on in the future i plan on hooking this up right here this is an avn so you can add a camera or you can add rca's with an hdmi plug at the other end which i plan on doing that and i plan using my iphone so what i want to use i want to get the hdmi adapter for the iphone and buy get some rcas some video avis i think they're called so that i can plug in to that particular where is it at let me go back that that one right there so i could plug into that so i can watch videos because you can watch videos on here it's on the box where you can watch whatever you want maybe youtube whatever i plug in so i'm gonna test that out if you guys are interested drop a comment so i can uh make that video for you once i get my my cables in but um what else did i want to say oh i did also add the backup camera i almost forgot on my first video i mentioned it that i was going to go pick it up because it doesn't come with it in the box but i got it so um i'm gonna put it in reverse right here there's the back up camera so i got the backup camera this car did not come equipped with the backup camera this is a 2015 um kia forte it only come it didn't even come with a seven inch display so i upgraded the radio let me go ahead and go wide for you guys bam you can see how that looks in my car so here's the kia forte i really don't drive this car uh my wife drives the cherokee and i drive i don't know if you can see it oh yeah you could see it i drive that uh chevy cruze that's behind me this one normally just sits just for now my daughter's gonna be driving it but um i drive it every once in a while but you can see how it looks with that seven inch display man that thing brought tons of life to this car as far as tech and there you guys have it man we out man the radio is fire love it catch me on another video if you guys want to check out the other video on my um 2012 chevy cruze where it has
