hey folks today I want to talk to you about printing at home specifically how to get the image on screen to match what actually comes out of your printer hey folks if you haven't already jump on over to Matt Granger comm you can sign up to my mailing list I'll send you a free copy of my guide the portraiture and keep you up to date on everything that's going on at the site so color calibration can be really tricky it starts off simple but the further you go in the more complex it becomes I've actually done a bunch of different videos on calibration generally I've done one on color spaces adobo juvy vs. srgb I've done one on printing workflow to do a commercial book run I've done videos on calibrating just your screen I've even done videos on calibrating your lens and camera for perfect focus today I want to take it a step further and bring it all together and show you how to get the image right on screen and then when you hit print for it to come out and actually match now this can be a hugely complex process and it's something I've shied away from doing a detailed video on before because when you're talking about printing and software it can be buggy and then people often just come up with so many unusual results based on their own configuration you need to get your screen looking right then you need to get your editing software like Photoshop using the right profiles and having it work and then you need to set up and customize your printer so that it matches the software and the screen fortunately I think I've found a system that will do it all for you in one step so if you've been watching for a while you would know that I use ISO monitors I've used them for years in my experience the color consistency and accuracy and the brightness consistency across the panel it's just unmatched and the build quality and a couple of other features they have in them when I'm doing stuff for printing I only want to be using either screens they're just fantastic so we're in the process you would know of said you know checking out the studio working out what equipment we're going to work with so coming here I reached out to ISO in America asked if I could get in a couple of models for us to test out for me and my videographer to see what the work for us moving forward for the past two months we've been using the 27-inch cs2 seven-30 and the 24-inch cg2 for20 they've been working out great we're really enjoying them but that's actually not the point of today's video when we got them in I found that both of those models are the latest generation and they're they work specifically with this new software that izo...
