will be email emailed out monthly and yet it's going to be in a form that you can print it out and so it's a good way to find out what's happening at brook hill church and also to know how to connect so that you can be a part of what god's doing we're even including some god stories to hear what god is up to in our community and in our world and so this addition this is an addition to our weekly emails that you'll get that will have the information about the weekly service and so if you don't get the emails from the church please call the church because we want you to be on that list we also want you to get ready for our church-wide linton study it is on the book by max o vinson about because of this i rejoice it's a study on philippians and we are developing now small groups that you can be a part of and you just need to contact the church or check out the website or the email that goes out for a link to sign up and now here's a message from our director of children's ministry hmm hello oh oh oh oh is streets uh uh oh we have victory in jesus christ amen because of all that he has done for us we can go out and change the world amen because the new life that he gives each of us we have opportunity to take this community to take this world to a different place all because of the victory we have in jesus so let's sing that chorus again please peg oh jesus is wow please join me in the opening prayer lord jesus as we virtually gather together in this unusual cultural moment we are reminded that you are not bound by place time or space we thank you for your presence with us even as we can be present with you in the season of loss heightened anxiety fear and upheaval we ask that you fill us with your truth your peace and most of all your holy spirit to lead and guide us in our next steps draw us closer to you that we might grow in our discipleship hearing your word and following you transform us in your likeness so that we in turn might be your agents of transformation and a broken world we pray this in the mighty name of jesus the one who became flesh died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead and glorious victory and we all say amen are there any kids out there i sure hope so today we're gonna talk about bread the crowds earnestly looked for jesus and finally found him on the other side of the sea of capernaum just the day before jesus had miraculously fed all of them with only a couple loaves of bread and some fish and while it had satisfied them at the time they returned to him hungry but this is why they sought jesus so desperately not for who he was but because he had amazed them at what he had done the miracle reminded them of the days of moses when the nation of israel was nourished daily with bread from heaven perhaps jesus like moses could usher in a new age for their people jesus spoke to the crowd you worked so hard to find me but only so you could ask me for bread that satisfies a short while why aren't you looking for the bread that will satisfy you forever bread that satisfies forever many in the crowd began to wonder how they could get this miraculous bread from god they asked jesus what works of god must we do in order to get this bread jesus replied i am sent from god and believe in me but the crowd searched for a sign and questioned jesus yes you multiplied bread and fed thousands but moses brought down bread from heaven and fed millions what great work will you do that will demonstrate that you are greater than moses jesus said you must hear me and understand this moses did not give you the manna my father gave it to you and now he has sent to you the bread of life that i speak of the expressions on the faces that looked back at him were mixed some skeptical some hopeful and others simply eager to hear as they said please give us this bread always the crowd waited intently for his answer then jesus announced i am that bread of life whoever comes to me shall not hunger and whoever believes in me will never thirst again he spoke of his body as bread and his blood as wine the suggestion of sacrifice disturbed and confused numbers of people who would not receive his words in fact many who had been following jesus walked away from him on that very day jesus turned to the apostles and asked will you leave me as well peter spoke up to the others lord where else would we go you alone have the words of eternal life jesus shared the bread with others and then he taught them that he is the bread of life when you share his words with others you are sheriff jesus i'll see you next time this is our time of intercession as we go to the lord and we lift up on our joys and our concerns before god and so today we continue on a grief journey having recently said goodbye to our beloved pastor gary hicks so please hold his family and all our church in your prayers as we are going through this time of of sorrow and yet joy i also want to offer that we are going to have on the afternoon of february 7th from 1 to 3 our sanctuary will be open you have to sign up for a time slot but you can come in and just be with the lord we'll have pastors here that could pray with you and maybe you need time to talk about what's been happening we also want to pray for ralph mullinix ralph as you may remember some of you is that he has been recovering from a fall well unfortunately he has a fracture in his shoulder so he is facing more surgery and possible hospitalization so we want to keep ralph in our prayers it's difficult because no one can be with him and also during this time of grief with his family he cannot be with him so please let us pray for ralph as well we also want to pray for this process of seeking a new director of youth ministries we're in the middle of the interview process we appreciate your prayers of wisdom as we discern the best person for this position and then we want to continue to pray for families affected by covenant so let us go to the lord in prayer dear loving god we invite your spirit to flow into this time of worship reaching out to wherever people are connecting us together in your love this has been the most difficult time with so many changes moments of sadness and weariness at this ongoing pandemic we are leaning into your presence this day to be comforted and refilled and i want to use the words to a song that our pastor gary wrote as a prayer and it goes like this spirit of god our souls need reviving our minds need renewing fill us again spirit of christ our love needs restoring our lives need reordering oh phyllis again come holy spirit giver of grace lord we surrender come take your place spirit of christ our love needs restoring rule in our hearts forever today spirit of god we pray that you would pour out your healing on our brother ralph and restore his hope and fill him with your love we pray for all the family of connie and gary that you would come for their hearts and bring them joy as they remember gary's great love for his family comfort us spirit of god in our sadness now we lift up those on our hearts out loud or silently that need your grace spirit of god thank you for hearing our prayers we also pray that you would revive your church raise up the disciples that plant the seeds of your word and love into this broken world let us surrender our lives to you today to be a means of grace and a witness of your good news of christ jesus we pray for wisdom and guidance as we seek a new director of youth ministries we ask your wisdom as we create new ways to connect people and worship and serve today we pray that hearts might receive you as lord and savior and people might recommit themselves as your committed disciples disciples that pray this prayer that jesus taught us to pray our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever amen when you move i'll move i will follow you i will trust in you i will trust in you alone i will follow you whom you love all love how you serve us sir if this life i lose right into my life i will live for you alone you're the one i seek knowing i will find how i needed you alone i will follow i will follow you i will follow you i will follow you i will follow you in the midst of struggles god is present in our times of grief and our times of wariness and tragedy god weeps with us when we fail to be the people we know that we were called to be and we sin god's grace surrounds us so as you prepare your your hearts to give either online electronically through texting brookhill app to 77977 or if you're giving on the webpage or if you're mailing in your offering i want you just to take a moment to think about how god has been present with you through your life journeys and i want you to silently commit to use your gifts your talents and your heart for furthering the unfolding realm of god on earth so so so dear heavenly father we just thank you that you are god and there is no other and there is none like you you love us with an eternal love and we give you our offerings as an expression of our love for you and we pray our gifts would be used to extend your kingdom in our land and may you the god of all grace who has called us into eternal glory by christ jesus make us holy strong and filled with peace to you be glory and honor forever and ever through jesus christ our lord amen hungry i am follows me oh me i am me away me i am i am i am today we have a reading from psalm 63 verses 1 through 5. you god are my god earnestly i seek you i thirst for you my whole being longs for you in a dry and parched land where there is no water i have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory because your love is better than life my lips will glorify you i will praise you as long as i live and in your name i will lift up my hands i will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods with singing lips my mouth will praise you and now a gospel reading from john chapter 6 verses 26 26-35 jesus answered very truly i tell you you are looking for me not because you saw the signs i performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. do not work for food that spoils but for food that endures to eternal life which the son of man will give you for on him god the father has placed his seal of approval then they asked him what must we do to do the works of god that god requires jesus answered the work of god is this to believe in the one he has sent so they asked him what sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you what will you do our ancestors ate the man in the wilderness as it is written he gave them bread from heaven to eat jesus said to them very truly i tell you it is not moses who has given you bread from heaven but it is my father who gives you the true bread from heaven for the bread of god is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world sir they said sure always give us this bread then jesus declared i am the bread of life whoever comes to me will never go hungry and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty the word of god for the people of god thanks be to god friends it's been a hard week a very hard week as we said goodbye to brother gary hicks and even in his last days i learned from pastor gary i learned how to die gracefully and i learned how to encourage others in spite of personal challenges gary was a faithful disciple and as i walked up to his house to visit him one last time i saw this sign on his front lawn that said i believe in prayer may i pray for you and it had his personal information on it i told him that i was learning from him even then and gary said well wait a minute i have another one that tim lieber gave me that you can have and with that gary's wife connie went running and she found this sign and gave it to me you see even in his dying days we learn from him and yet anyone who knew gary knows that he would be very uncomfortable with us talking about him you see humility was also a trademark of gary hicks he would however want us to talk about things that were important to him and one of the most important things to gary besides his family and of course jesus was discipleship how to be a disciple and how to make more disciples and so that's what we're concentrating on today as the downtown christian fellowship says every time they gather our mission is to be disciples who make disciples who live and love like jesus will you pray with me lord god we thank you for this virtual space and even as we're gathered together and we want to comfort one and another we also know that you are in the center of this space wherever we may be in our homes and so god we thank you that we can even gather together virtually with you and so lord this day we pray that your holy spirit speaks to our spirits that you would strengthen us in our discipleship and may the words of my mouth and the meditations of all of our hearts be pleasing to you amen discipleship was everything to gary even in his dying days he wanted to ensure that people would not lose faith due to his illness and looming death and friends death does not have the last word gary being a true disciple of jesus brings us to the title of our message today the choice is yours spiritual potluck or discipleship diet what does that mean the question becomes do we take a little bit of this and a little bit of that in our spirituality or do we feast on a diet of things that will empower us to go deeper in our discipleship journey every week when the downtown christian fellowship meets they recite the four steps of discipleship together and these are the steps that every person must take in order to be a faithful disciple of jesus first is personal salvation with an emphasis on jesus as master second spiritual disciplines of prayer and bible study thirdly we need healthy relationships with believers and others and fourth we need to discover our gifts and find a place to serve well we could preach about discipleship every day all day long and not cover all the things that need to be covered but today we're going to go through three big ideas of why we need to pay attention to our own discipleship and we'll give a few ideas on how to become a better follower of jesus first of all we're looking at how culture the culture we live in has changed even in our lifetime and especially in the last five years we live in a postmodern post-christian culture and i know that makes us uncomfortable because the reality is this culture is so unfamiliar and secondly we're looking at how christianity has melded into the culture around us actually the reverse is supposed to be the norm christians are not supposed to conform to culture but rather we are to be a royal priesthood a peculiar people different than the rest of the world we're supposed to be the ones to shape the culture around us and in fact first peter 2 9 says it this way but you are a chosen race a royal priesthood a holy nation god's own people in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called you out of the darkness into his marvelous light friends that's us we've been called out of the darkness into his marvelous light well thirdly we're going to look at how disciples of jesus can be counter-cultural in the ways we follow jesus and grow deeper in our spiritual diet our own spiritual journeys so going back to point number one how has culture changed theologian and pastor mark sayers tells us about a cosmic shift in historical perspective there has been a change a major change in the culture we live in now mark serves in a church in melbourne australia so far away from the rest of the world but he's very in tune with shifts in the culture worldwide in fact he studies culture in relation to christianity and he's written some fascinating books both on disappearing church and more recently reappearing church i commend them to you especially the last one and he believes we're at the end of an age the end of an era and we've begun a new age for example each period of time each age has been marked with something significant in history the iron age the bronze age the industrial age and in terms of philosophy we also are tracked in ages there's the enlightenment era and then we're part of a postmodern a postmodern age and some call it a post-christian era and each of these eras is marked specifically in a shift and the shift that is now in progress where we are right now one of the reasons we feel so uncomfortable this era is being dubbed the big data age or some have called it the information age this age is more than secularism it's more than postmodern it's this cosmic shift that's going to be written about in history books now some of the marks of this age are going to be told to you in a minute but this is what sayers says he says the connectivity of globalization and the internet brought us closer but it also brought more chaos and more conflict the freedom that was promised now came like a flood paralyzing us with endless choices and sayers also says unlimited freedom ironically brought the imprisonment of constant anxiety let me say that again unlimited freedom ironically brought the imprisonment of constant anxiety think of that for a minute we're in a constant state of anxiety in our culture now here are some other marks of this age we're more connected in terms of social network and yet we have less authentic relationships we live in this reactivity state of being which in turn feeds our narcissism let me give you uh an example of this reactivity pre-covered there was a mom in washington dc who was volunteering to help out in her daughter's preschool class she was left alone with the class while the teacher tended to the need of another child and she ran out of the prescribed things to do so she decided to teach them a song it was christmas but she chose not to use a christian song and so she chose rudolph the red-nosed reindeer and later she got in trouble because that song is about bullying even though it has a good resolution and that's not the worst of it her choice of song went viral on twitter and she was bullied on twitter for teaching the song crazy but cyber bullying happens all the time which goes back to this constant state of anxiety well another mark of this era is that we want instant gratification we're no longer willing to wait for anything which is a quick fix mentality which in turn gives us low emotional resilience another mark is we play the blame game it's never my fault but it's always someone else who has to be the target of something that doesn't work in addition we're becoming more and more of a herd mentality just watch all the bashing of one another on the internet when someone perceives an injustice or even look at the insurrection at the capitol and if you listen to people afterwards they said well everybody else was going into the capital so i did too a mob attitude is the most immature so we are in constant state of reactivity another mark is we no longer value authority in our leaders in their field but rather we search for an article and then assume that we're an expert just look at how people became experts on the virus when dr fauci is the one who had the expertise in addition our phones have become many gods just notice how you feel when you leave home without your phone we almost feel like we're naked or something but here's the worst part the worst part is we no longer value truth and truth can be manipulated on the internet to make it look like anything is true all photos all videos can be doctored up to appear real and that's how these conspiracy scandals work people say well i saw the video anything can appear to look real and that friends is perhaps the most dangerous part because we christians know where truth comes from it comes from god and jesus says i am the way the truth and the life and our scripture today from john reaffirms that in verse 29 jesus answered and says the work of god is this to believe in the one he meaning the father has sent friends this cosmic shift seems like a very dark time and if you ever used to watch the show leave it to beaver like i did the sad reality is that it doesn't exist like that anymore and in our darkest times we struggle and it's easy to get discouraged and yet this is the time we need our faith the most we're in the toughest place that most of us living today have ever experienced in our nation including my 94 year old mother who was alive during world war ii but she even sees the anxiety more right now you see we're in this chronic state of fatigue chronic state of anxiety of being worn down not to mention the political division coronavirus and the economic hardships what's a person to do we need leaders to break the cycle of anxiety and who can those leaders be well you and me discipled christians you don't need to be an ordained minister for these game-changing people can be ordinary radical disciples of jesus you and me which brings us to point number two in this age of big data faith and culture have merged so much together that the two often seem as one now i love a potluck meal just like anybody else but spiritual pot luck is another story and so we have on the internet people searching for a religion that makes them feel good and they take a little bit of this and a little bit of that and they mix them all together in this pluralistic thing and friends that's dangerous and another danger is when people claim faith based on their experience or how they feel instead of understanding that revelation of who god is begins with god not with how we feel in addition people get confused and merge all their ideologies together under the name of faith which is the reason we have this melding together of politics in the bible your politics your political affiliation is not your god but rather we need a kingdom mindset and so we hear the psalmist today once again in psalm 63 saying you o god i earnestly seek you i thirst for you friends do we earnestly seek god every day in all moments of the day in this crazy culture the bible teaching is clear yahweh says have no other gods before me god appeared to moses through the burning bush and when moses said whom shall i say sent me to pharaoh god says i am and later in the new testament jesus in the gospel of john repeats those words which was considered blasphemous by the teachers of the law of the day and yet jesus says i am the river of life i am the way and the truth and the life i am the gate i am the vine i am the good shepherd and today's reading i am the bread of life we're not given any other options and jesus asked the people a rhetorical question in today's lesson you've seen me and you still do not believe friends sometimes it's like that for us too we've seen miracles we've read we have seen the signs we've heard the tradition from 2 000 years of christianity and we still want to dabble in the potluck we see a nice saying from buddha here and we put it on our facebook and we see something over here that we like and friends that's not what god calls us to or maybe our gods become the gods of politics and money and power and prestige and yet the very first commandment that we read says you shall have no other gods before me friends we have to constantly watch our hearts because there are things trying to attack this reality in our lives every day god wants all of our heart not just a part of it and so in culture we tend to enjoy the potluck and yet we're told throughout the bible there is to be no spiritual potluck for us pick one and that is to be the true god of israel yahweh whom christians believe became flesh to reconcile us in our sinful nature to a holy god at the foot of the cross it is interesting that when the apostle john had a huge revelation which we call the book of revelation we hear god's complaints against the seven churches that used to be faithful believers and these seven churches once flourished and proclaimed christ and now even in our day they lay empty the historical remains are found in modern day turkey revelation 3 15 haunts me with these words to the church in laodicea where god says i know your works you are neither cold nor hot i wish that you were cold or hot and so because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot i'm about to spit you out of my mouth for you say i am rich and i have prospered and i need nothing you do not realize that you are wretched and pitiable and poor and blind and naked friends that's pretty brutal but god knows that the human heart has tendencies to change quickly we in our modern day world have those same tendencies we remember what happened long before that revelation dream came to john right there at mount sinai when moses received the commandments up on the mountain and while he was there receiving commandments the people were creating a golden calf and god was brutal on them and warns us of the same so what are we to do well renew our hearts in jesus christ if you've never accepted jesus as your lord and savior this is the time to commit to jesus and only jesus and in fact the apostle paul tells the people in the letter to the ephesians chapter 2 verse 4 but god who is rich in mercy out of the great love with which he loved us even when we were dead through our trespasses or sins made us alive together with christ by grace you have been saved and so we're not to be on a spiritual potluck brawl but rather we are to be on a steady diet of christian discipleship which brings us to our third point today our christian life does not stop when we give our hearts to jesus but rather that's the great beginning of transformation in our lives the fancy term for that is called sanctification sanctification is the process of a person who has given their heart to jesus growing more and more like jesus in this age of reckoning in this cultural climate of big data or information age we are desperate for radical disciples and paul puts it this way once again to the people of ephesus in 4 14 he says we will no longer be infants tossed back and forth by the waves and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of the people in their deceitful scheming instead speaking the truth in love we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head and that is christ beloved we're called to become mature in following christ how do you become a mature yet radical disciple of jesus in this cultural moment well it has to be intentional deliberate and practiced personally some of you might know that i love football and when preacher john tyson used this metaphor i was all over it he says the clock determines the play the clock determines the play and what he means by that is if it's fourth down with 10 yards to go and it's the first quarter of the game the team who has the football is going to punt the football away but if it's four and ten with a few minutes left in the fourth quarter the playbook call is going to be different the team with the ball is not going to punt but rather they are going to put everything they have into getting the ball the next 10 yards in order to score friends it's the fourth quarter the play clock is real and it's critical that all christians are on the field in radical discipleship and so what do you need to uninstall in your life in order to install a way to follow jesus in a closer manner what old ways or old habits need to be put on a shelf or changed in order to pick up new habits maybe it's time to stop watching the news all of the all the time or stop scrolling through facebook or stop binging on every tv show and maybe spend more time with your bible maybe it's time to start some new spiritual habits so here's some ideas of how to move from a lukewarm follower of jesus into a radical disciple first of all pray more pray more it was pastor gary who encouraged me during a time of prayer to begin the 24 7 prayer room in downtown frederick stop by sometime we opened in the middle of a pandemic for a time such as this and it's both for believers and non-believers so bring your unchurched friends it's a very cool place 202 east 4th street drop in any day between 8 30 a.m and 8 p.m you'll probably find yourself there alone and it's a great place to put our prayers before god but wherever you are pray more and remember to listen to god also prayer involves listening i love nikki gumble's description he says you know if you go to a doctor and you have all these aches and pains and you say doctor i hurt here and here and here and after you've given your long list you stand up and say well thanks and you leave the doctor is going to respond well wait a minute don't you want to hear what i have to say and sometimes that's what we do in our prayer life we give our big long list to god and we walk away take time to be still before god after all jesus promised that the holy spirit would be here to listen and to work in our lives next read the bible daily and think through the application now there are lots of ways to read the bible and it's become easier for us because there's even a bible app which i know pastor dana uses a lot so you can gather other people to be part of a bible study a 365 daily reading together just get some friends and gather together to read another step is to worship both privately and corporately begin each day praising god for the gift of another day a mature disciple begins the day with praise and gratitude and find an accountability small group which includes 24 7 accountability the small group accountability they were called bans and they were really the foundation of the methodist movement and friends it needs to be resurrected be generous in your time your finances your presence and your witness we have to learn to speak about our faith again and if that's really hard for you it's hard for most of us but i would encourage you to look at the classes that we're going to offer soon here at brookhill on discipleship also you can find a place to serve in both mission and outreach from every age from our youngest to our most senior people you can find a place to serve you can serve in prayer and cards and ideas and that includes the verbalizing of sharing jesus this is not an opt-out moment this is an opt-in moment and if you didn't see the parade across america with the inauguration last week there was a beautiful story of a 12 12-year-old boy he played trumpet and every day for a hundred days his mama drove him to the local hospital and he played outside the hospital a song of encouragement for all the people inside what can you do today to cheer somebody up well another thing we can do as disciples is pray for jesus's revival another great awakening of god in 1949 off the scotland coast in the hebrides islands there was a great awakening and it began with two sisters in their 80s praying fervently for the holy spirit to work in the lives of the people go read about it it's awesome and that kind of awakening can happen again some of us are praying into that join in the prayer friends there is an urgency to reclaim the vision that was put before us by jesus it's a multiplication network be a disciple that makes disciples to see others move from death to life from lost to being found from hearers of the gospel to laborers in the field from despair to hope in christ it's a conspiracy of love and that my friends is the conspiracy that pastor gary hicks was a part of we all miss pastor gary and honestly we're still in shock and there remains a big hole in our lives because he's not with us but the best way we can honor him and his memory is to do what he loved to do grow in becoming radical disciples for jesus be part of this conspiracy of love for jesus and that my friends is how we in this cultural moment can help transform the world what is one thing that you can commit to for your own discipleship journey today amen friends if you have never committed your life to jesus we're going to have a virtual altar call here or maybe you've already committed your life to jesus but today you want to recommit in some fashion you want to change up a habit and so i'm going to invite you wherever you are to pray this prayer out loud with me and god hears you and also i'm going to invite you to let pastor dana or pastor josh know that you've prayed this and you want to recommit yourself write it in the chat you're watching write it in the chat and so let's pray together shall we dear jesus i want to commit my life to you and today maybe i want to recommit my life to you jesus forgive me for all the ways that i've pushed you aside forgive me for thinking that i can do it on my own i want you to be lord of my life so empower me by your holy spirit to be a faithful disciple a radical disciple for you i give you my heart this day help me to follow you more closely amen in pastor sarah's message today she presented us with an altar call moment now normally an altar call involves us approaching the altar for forgiveness and to commit ourselves in a new way to christ now even though we can't be in front of this altar here together we all can recommit ourselves to christ in our own ways sarah already mentioned some ways that we can demonstrate our commitment but there are many others for instance later this spring we will be having lenten studies and a discipleship study class as well offered so that you can grow closer to god we also have opportunities for you to give or support ministries that impact the community but maybe there are other ways that you are being called to commit yourself to god remember how in the bible when someone was brought to jesus for healing and help jesus would tell them to get up and go do something when you kneel at the altar of your heart and seek jesus don't stop there listen to what god is calling you to do it might be to do something or participate in something here in this church or in our community whatever it is remember that faith is a commitment that is demonstrated in our actions if you have made a new or renewed your commitment to christ and need some support and prayer feel free to get in touch with us here at the church so that we can pray for you and nurture your commitment to jesus we don't just kneel for christ we walk for christ and we don't walk alone thank you amen one two one two three four he's still working on me god's still working on me been a long long journey god's still working on me he is faithful and he'll always be i've been on a journey many weary miles mountains hills and valleys tests and lonely trials my god is faithful to his he's still much he's still working on me god's still working on me been a long long journey god's still working on me he is god has a chisel he is shaping me my god has a furnace he he's still working on me god's still working on me been a long long journey god's still working on me he is faithful and is always wasted soon i reach that journey new jerusalem i will see my savior fellowship with him i'll be perfect he's still working on me god's still working on me been a long long journey god's still working on me he is be quiet let's see it one more time he's still working on me god's still working on long me god's still working on me he is faithful jesus has called each of us to find our nourishment in him let us now continue to seek god in our homes and our schools and our places of work wherever we may go god is with us and calling us to share the bread of heaven let us now go filled with the goodness of the lord praising god as long as we live may the almighty water the dryness of our land may jesus the bread of heaven nourish you and may the holy spirit equip you to walk in the pathways of god now and forever amen me you
