I'm gonna show you how to go ahead and print out X messages on an iPhone or an iPad they both work the same it's important to have this option in case you have something you need to have written down maybe someone sent you a recipe maybe it's someone that's no longer with you or it could be something that's needed for legal reasons but with that I'm gonna go ahead and just kind of dive right in here and give you an idea of how to do all that so you don't lose those messages welcome everybody I'm Kevin with helpful tutorials dotnet if you're new here please do me a favor smack that subscribe button and don't forget to ring the bell so here we go we have my phone up please please please disregard my emails I know I cannot keep up with them I've seen the comments and yes sometimes it's it used to say 20-some thousands so this amount is good so first thing we're gonna do is go ahead and click on messages so we can go ahead and look at the messages we want to print out once we do that we will find the conversation we're looking for this is my wife call so we're go ahead and use this as an example so the first thing you want to do is some people go ahead and can copy these and send it in email and yes that does work if you're looking for a quick way it's not so easy to copy like it used to be as each bubble is kind of separate nowadays if you click on it it's just gonna give you options for that one bubble so that way I don't really think is the right way to do it anymore so what we want to do is actually go ahead and take screen captures and to do that we would hit the power button and the button on the top left the up volume at the same time and when you do that it will look like this and it'll have it at the bottom there for now we're just gonna swipe it to the side and we'll go into our photos and show you how to do that so now we have the message saved so we can go ahead and go out of this simply swipe up and then go ahead and choose photos and we're gonna see our photo there you'll also see my little guy playing with the puppy oh go ahead and click on that once we're in the message here what we're gonna do is you can see on the bottom left there's that arrow and a box you're going to tap on that it's gonna give you more options we're gonna go ahead and scroll up so it goes down and we're looking for print there I see an option to go ahead and print we'll go ahead and choose that now it's gonna go ahead and say select printer go and click select printer you will need an air printer available all you would do is go ahead and choose that printer how many copies you want and then if you want it in black-and-white only you can select that if not just leave it in color and then simply go ahead and choose print and it'll go through and print out for you now that we have it printed you are done with that portion but if this is a message you want to save you want to make sure you keep it on your phone you don't want to delete it some people say okay now you print it out you could delete it now keep it on the phone until the trial or whatever is done because you don't know if you're gonna lose the copy if they don't accept that and they want to see physical proof there's a lot of different things you can do what I recommend is backing this up in your iCloud too so that way you have it not just on your phone but you have it in your cloud so what we want to do is go ahead and choose settings you want to click on your iCloud account go ahead and choose iCloud and when you're here you'll see messages go ahead and just turn messages on I currently don't need it because I don't backup my messages but if you want to go ahead and do this and you have these important messages you don't want to lose turn it on it doesn't actually take up much space unless you're getting lots of videos and high-resolution pictures for the most part if you're cleaning out your messages every six months or so you shouldn't really have much space in there with that said you are all set now you have your printout copy you have your backed up copy in case something happens to your phone and you also have the version on your phone I hope this helped if you have any questions please leave them down below I have some other videos I really think you'll like go ahead and check these out and I want to thank you so much for the view
