world worldwide so kdp means kinder direct publishing and kindly direct publishing is actually it involves doing um print on demand so print on demand is the latest technology in which people order your books and the company or platform in which you have uploaded your book prints the book immediately and other is placed and delivered straight to them so if you are watching from nigeria or most parts of africa this service is actually not accessible some people might actually do it but it's going to like oh that was actually painful but yes it's not readily available on like other like developed countries but you also have access to it and you need to enjoy that your book will not get to you except you find a way to divide down to your country but it's exactly cheaper and you can is actually printed and delivered to someone they take off the money or the cost of printing then they take off a percentage of your interests and then they release the rest to you and they also take out tax of it so you're free from thinking about tax and likes then these other platforms i'm going to be mentioning are platforms you can actually sell your books like kdp also does kindle direct kindle itself like kindle ebooks so you upload your books as e copies and also as printed these other platforms you have to pay a certain amount of money to get your books printed now notes that kdp only offers this service like printing paperback copies but the next two services or companies i'm going to mention actually offer this service they are the main ones that actually do the printing the other ones i mentioned are actually like distributors that like i have a connection to kdp and this other places so the next one is actually lulu l u l u lulu lulu offers the service of printing hardcover books also book baby gives you the opportunity to produce hardcover books as well as paperbacks too but like they give you the opportunity to do that then ingramsparks actually is actually like the biggest of everything they are competing with kdp you but you have to pay a certain amount of money like you're subscribing to your service to get your books on their platform and to have the opportunity to print ad cover paperback ebook and have distribution channels all over the world then the following channels are actually channels that actually offer the services too but they are linked to these other lulu engrams packs and they help you like print out your books in different forms and formats and then it'll be distributed around the world these services are auto house um draft digital um bands and noble they're actually a lot of them but these are verified confirmed platforms that ensure your book is printed the right way though like their comparison like between the cost of production and the time of shipment and all that but i feel you just need to find which one works for you and go with the flu like read a lot online about okay which one would you prefer working with i know that for me because i don't want to think about the stress of like doing hardcover books or pain extra when i can just print it out and yes this is not a paid ad by kdp i wish kitty people pay me for doing this but yeah i just enjoy your services is the easiest way to go about exactly using amazon that's ktp and using kdp you get sample copies of your book for free not free but it's going to be cheaper than if you were going to um a publisher to print a sample copy of your book for you so you get sample copies of your book i'm going to show you a sample copy of my book i got for almost half the price of the original one or the exact price so they always put this not for sale on it so this is like a proof copy you use this to determine okay if your format and layout is nice if your text is okay the arrangement and organization of the book is fine so they give you this type of service you can also other auto copies like normally when you put up the price you also add the price of the book and also actually of course like whatever you want to add to it but when you're printing with amazon kdp when you want to print all those copies you can order from one to 999 per batch or whatever you want to order you can actually do that and you pay only the cost of printing the book not the price you actually put out there for like your customers or your readers but the disadvantage is that the book doesn't come to you in time as it would if you were actually buying it normally like as a customer on amazon be actually an indirect customer so it just doesn't come to
