[Music] it's always a little exciting we get a new printer here this one is a little more so than any of the others because it's a new printer from a new company and we are the first to get to try it out it's my understanding that this is one of the first if not the first of these machines in North America I guess about two weeks ago my understanding is Gregg it is a high e huh which I hope I'm pronouncing right s cube one 3d printer the build size on this particular one is 65 millimeters by 115 millimeters by 100 millimeters so it's a little bit on the smaller side for the 3d printers actually very similar size wise to these the monoprice believe that we've got it's actually you got a little bit less got a lot of neat features you'll have to see how well we work but it does have Wi-Fi networks capabilities awesome ability to run off a smartphone nice and up and running see how it goes was it printer itself tonight compact unit just you know first impressions just looking at it appears to be very well built it's all metal obviously other than the acrylic dual Z guide rails everything just looks solid looks well-constructed powered up and find out now the user's manual came on the USB card so I have printed that out and skimmed it briefly did not come with resin so I'm probably going to be using its Isan bio Greg to test it out plug it in powered up for the first time nice high resolution color display on there I'll get some better shots of it in later videos of course but this is your start introduction video is to show you what's going on beautiful sport one of the nicer ones I've seen it's got the instructions for I was kidding push a button and find out how to raise the z axis but it read my mind that's psychic ability to know it definitely just part of this out we go and raise the plate out or raise the build surface out of the way it's back the material out look at this resin tank nice metal tank their generous size all right like I said it appears to be just a you know well-built printer it's certainly from bust looking anyway now I'm making the assumption that this is pretty level from the factory because just breezing through the the instruction manual it tells you how to go about starting your first print and it doesn't go through any kind of leveling at all so it basically just telling you a four year resident and print test plan so that's what we're gonna do that's the the purpose of these initial videos is just to do what it says in the manual I've got a plates menu here and our settings menu so I'm just gonna go to the plates menu there's a test print in there and there's another one that says auto calibration platon ilyich setting their manual was a warning not to delete that one that's important I guess for calibration what pourcel is resonant again if you could come with a resin so I'm gonna use some that I had here in the shop this is the key son bio-based resin this is the PLA resin they've got it's what we're gonna be using the second phase of testing on all these machines I really liked it I'm still working with it so got some here ups go ahead and use that and of course there's some bubbles in there for my rapid shaking there alright push on the test print roving it tell me it's 70 layers it gives me a usage on here I like that it tells me the amount of resin it's gonna be using doesn't what the profile is it's like a 50 micron we're good to go I'm gonna go go ahead and hit play or pretty-pretty it very nice display when the nicer ones I've seen very you know high-resolution gorgeous color and we could watch a movie on that it's telling me about Stoney it's only a 15-minute print receive data from controller we'll sit here and watch it do its first layer or two and then we'll let it do its thing and we'll come back and see out with I'm not a hundred percent sure I didn't look at the profile I just went ahead and print it and hopefully it'll be close to that that flower resident seems to be fairly forgiving but we'll see if nothing else it's a good looking for nice package very compact and so far extremely easy to use if this print actually turns out this will be by far the easiest quickest set up ahead of any of the dishes which is fairly impressive we are back with us hi-yah q1 it's already finish this first test print around 15 minutes something probably finger sure flat plaque type thing there let me go ahead and pop this off the plate get it cleaned up and take a look at it dirty pre-wash alcohol all right we got here misprint it's a picture of the printer itself charming sales lady next to it pretty good now this wasn't dialed in to the resolution of the excuse me out the resolution bethey the print times or anything of the the resin I used it was just you know I poured this Isan resin in there and I had no idea what the print times were so you know it's a good print I mean I'm fairly impressed by it but I think you're dialed into the proper settings for the resonant could probably be even better but you know for RAL the Box first print like that it's pretty impressive and what we have here after we get it cleaned up is of course a little thing soever the show is better it's impressive I've been pretty pretty impressive print now doesn't look like much like this until you yeah that's kind of boring but I'm gonna move this camera here get up and take a look get there the tripod so I moved backward further but there we go show you that's that's pretty good yeah iPhones even recognizing that as a face that I I'm impressed that that's nice you can see and this is because of me shaking the resident I mentioned this before I put some bubbles in the resin but that's a pretty impressive print considering really I didn't do anything to get it I just pushed the print button so far the setup on this has been incredibly easy the easiest yet of anything that I've done so I'm looking forward to working this I'll be working with a lot more over the next couple days weeks explore a lot of the features of it it's got a lot of you know promising features on board there things like the yawn board slicer I'm supposed to supposedly I'm able to just upload a STL file directly into this and they'll slice it on board using the onboard profiles print it it's also compatible with you know outside slicers like to the box it also has Wi-Fi control smart phone control all that so I'm looking forward getting all that set up seeing how well it works and playing around this and so far it's been an excellent little machine Kuki obviously just the first print here but it extremely easy to use and nice setup beautiful machine credible display the best display I've seen yet maybe about the same I'd say is on those or tracks as far as the old resolution and just the clarity the display and all that but very present machine so far anyway like I said I'm really looking forward to to continue to work with this one and
