today I'm going to show you the two options you have available for printing report cards the traditional option to do it the same way you have in the past is still available and is very much the same with one minor exception and I will show you how to do that the second option allows for digital signatures and an automatic promotion written right onto the report card for day grade promotion so we will address those two today so to get started we go to academic great manager report cards plus this is the same as we've always done in the past you will notice however that on the right hand side you are given many more options for the template to use at the top are all of your traditional templates and then those on the bottom all say signature after them which means those allow for a digital signature option first on this I will show you the traditional way of printing report cards which in this case I'm going to use the junior high template and you'll notice this box on the left display placement you must check this box or you will not see the box allowing for signatures on the report card so it's very important that you check this display placement box then I choose my students my grade and for simplicity sake just a single student this is all the same as what we've done in the past I generate my report card this is a single student and you'll notice because I checked that box that said placement here's my placement box for the school year it will allow me to put in two right in the grade the teacher signature and the Prince of signature that's very much the same as what we have done in the past now for those that would like to utilize the digital signature option instead I'm going to choose the junior high seventh and eighth grade signature report card once again I'm going to click display placement now keep in mind this will only work if you already have the signatures for your teachers and your principal on file if not the automatic digital signatures will not appear on the report card if you're not sure how to set up and put those signatures on file please refer to the video that discusses preparation for printing report cards with digital signatures it is also located on this same channel so now I've clicked my display placement i click on students still my one student generate my report card and you will notice down at the bottom not only does it show me the grade promotion that this seventh grade student will be placed in eighth grade for next year but it also has my teachers digital signature that is on file and my principles digital signature that is on file this avoids the carpal tunnel syndrome of having to sign all of those report cards by hand
