what's up everyone today I'll be sharing to your very helpful tip that I recently discovered in our sony alpha cameras so let's go ahead and check it out so I had a corporate shoot last Sunday where and I was recording a straight a 10-minute video then that clip is very important of part of the event so right now I am recording in my camera I continuous clip so the reason why I am recording this because I want to see if I will encounter that same error that I encountered last Sunday if not I'll be showing how it looks like in here so that is the arid and I just encountered last Sunday so right after I encountered that error it shows in my SD card that it's zero so right now we are not able to experience that but that time I encountered that error so when I checked the file on the camera it's only showing half of the clip and I was missing the ten minute part of the clip and when I checked that clip on the laptop it's the same I also missed the 10 minute part of the video clip so I was so scared to miss that file because that is really one of the most important part of the event so when I was experimenting in my a 7-3 I figured this specific setting where and you can find in your a 7-3 you could also see this in your a 6300 or a 6500 I'm not sure which part of it but I saw this here and 5th icon and under set up 6 it is called recover image database so usually when you encounter this kind of error what people does is that they immediately format the card which is one of the option that you can have when you encounter this error so what I did since the camera was not able to finish writing the file on the memory card I tried this option which is the recovery image DB I click that then I choose which slot did I place the SD card click that slot and then enter the check image database file when I entered it gladly the file was able to write the memory card successfully basically this is one of the most important and I think less use feature that you can have in your camera so if in case you encounter this error do not immediately format your card try the recover image DB first if it works if it not then you can reformat your card make sure to back up the files that you have in your card in order that you will not lose the file that you already recorded all right guys I think that is all for this quick tip Wednesday and I hope I could upload more quick tips for you or what I could discover in this camera or other things that could be helpful to you guys and yeah thank you so much for watching this I hope this helps you a lot and I'll see you in the next video peace
