we would focus on you at this very important event in the life of Lucas we ask in Jesus name Amen so let me just share a little bit about the purposes for child education a child education is meant to give thanks to God for this gift of life that God has given to array.c and John thanking God for Lucas and also to pray to God for Lucas of protection that he will go to be a person that would truly love God and also be one that would be a blessing to others in my chapter 10 verses 13 to 16 in the Bible it says there are some people brought children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them but the disciples scolded the people when Jesus noticed this he was angry and he said to his disciples let the children come to me and then I tried to stop them for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these and I tell you whoever does not accept the kingdom of God child will never enter it and he put his arms around him ladies as upon them and he blessed them now this is very basic who are understanding of God and on his word that God desires that we come to him with the faith of a child and that's right children are very important to the Lord what could the child do for himself what can what could look us do for himself very little right yeah cry maybe sleep but you have to be depleted right oh yeah but the thing is a child is totally dependent upon your parents especially a different child especially a baby and that is why Jesus said unless we come to him as a child in faith we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven because as a child is totally dependent upon the parents for everything God desires that will be totally dependent upon him in absolutes paying for everything everything that we have really is a blessing from God and we can enjoy it because God allows us and gives it to us and that is why when we understand that basic truth that the Bible teaches us we will understand what it means what our trust and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for the parents the giant array.c you know that the child's first concepts an understanding of God would come from you that is why God thought the parents concern these commands in the Bible in Deuteronomy chapter 6 it says never forget these commands I'm giving you today teach them to your children repeat them when you are at home when you're away when you are resting and when you are working tie them on your foreheads as a reminder and write them on your doorpost of your houses and on your gates God is saying here that the child's understanding of who God is really comes from the parents so if you are godly parents if you love God the child will see that if you don't know God and God is just an add-on to your life the child will see that as well and most likely he will follow your example and so jesus said when he was in earth the first and greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart with all your mind and with all your soul and when you do that you can pass that as a legacy to us and that is why I would like to ask you as the parents have been purposed in your hearts and in the presence of all these witnesses the Covenant to strive by your teaching and example three smoke us in the love of God and in the knowledge of his son Jesus Christ our Lord and the you at this time I wish to rededicated offer your knives in commitment for Lord Jesus Christ so if you desire is for Lucas to grow up but maximize maximize his potential as a person and girl will be the very best he can ever do and the way for that to happen is for us to influence him to love God and in loving God he can learn to love others wouldn't you like to look us to be a loving individual what had to happen we have to set an example and show that to him when he grows up he will mirror that love to others and so I'd like to say a prayer of dedication for Lucas and pray for him that's brigadiere's other people everybody could see having heard this bounce and as a minister of Christ I joined his new command to you Oh God Lucas the gracious keeping of God our Father with earnest prayer may you be sound in a big part and holy in spirit soul and body Lord Jesus I thank you for Lucas and I thank you that you have given him a gift a tremendous and a wonderful gift to the parents John and Gracie thank you God that you have blessed them with a family and may this family be protected by you may your love be the one that will surround them may faith in you characterize their relationships may your protection be the one to shelter them in times of trouble may their faith in you bring them through the ups and downs of life and most of all may your example as we can see in Scripture be the one that would guide John and Gracie so in their relationship and it as it is forged by love and mutual respect that it would be passed on to Lucas end up together as a family they would be a testimony of your love and grace a testimony for the world to see it made this immediate family made this extended family be a reflection of that love as well and may it surround Lucas with all good things where I ask in Jesus name Amen amen ladies and gentlemen I present you Lucas palace fully
