What do you like best?

I like how its very easy to use. You can make sure it is also organize as you can create folders and title your documents properly. Overall look and its interface is user-friendly. It is very helpful for us at times like this where it needs a lesser person-to-person interaction, you can get your documents signed in a minute and it goes right to your inbox too. For all business especially, working remotely and all the digital platforms this is the answer on your waiting game for unsigned, unread important documents! The bulk sending function is the best, as we have compared it to other similar software, some doesn't allow bulk sending like this but Sign Now has a very generous trial phase to send at least 50 documents per day. We would definitely, use this software again!

Initial client progress report

i wanted to show you how i fill out progress reports for students at our tutor group we'll take a look at an oup progress report and a regular progress report as well let me first give you five tips and then you can watch me do some reports uh number five is the best tips to stick around number one make quick shorthand notes on a notepad on your computer as you go through the class try to note down at least one unique moment like a nice sentence or story or a good expression that the student used in the class at least one major strength and at least one major weakness or area of improvement try to do that for each student number two don't forget to do the progress report within 24 hours of the class if you don't do it you don't get paid but some teachers have actually left it until the last hour in those 24 hours and sometimes the cut off is a little bit earlier than you expect so try and do them you know within the first couple of hours number three is be different when i look at students previous progress reports from their previous teachers i often notice the same kinds of cliches and generic sentences i've been guilty of that myself do your best to personalize each report show that you really have the student and the class in mind when you're writing it number four is include a class summary it's a good idea to preview the material while you're doing the reports to remind yourself of what it was about and then you can note down some key vocabulary points or key grammar points in your report number five and i think this is the most important one especially for me don't do your reports right after the class you might think that's bad advice before you close this video and unsubscribe to the channel i want to tell you that i did this for my first what four years i tutor group but i promise there's a better way teaching six back-to-back classes and doing reports in between them rather than taking breaks might be efficient but it's not healthy and i think it affects the quality of your progress reports now i usually do progress reports at the end of my teaching shift so at the end of my six back-to-back classes or 12 back-to-back classes if they're 25-minute sessions and i refer back to my notes and the lesson material preview thing to help me fill them out i've been doing this method for about six months now and it's definitely better it's not only better for me because you know i can get up and walk around and take breaks in between classes but it's also better for the students because the quality of the reports that i right now i think are much better than they ever were i'm not rushing anymore and i'm not you know trying to get it done before i get into the next class and i've got a bit of extra time to put more care into what i write were any of those five tips useful for you if they were give this video a like because it helps it get recommended to other teachers and if you wouldn't mind seeing my little mustache face again then click subscribe for more content like this oh and a bonus tip is because the progress reports don't have a spell checker yet maybe they will in the future who knows try using grammarly it's a browser extension so you can find it in the chrome extension store thing and it spell checks everything that you write on every web page that you're on and it's free all right do you want to watch me do some reports right now you'll see exactly how i do it cool but before we do that i just want to mention one thing i asked a couple of staff members at itunes group if it was okay if i shared this video without blurring the students names the reason that the names aren't blurred is that when i was editing i had to track and blur the text this is probably really boring to most of you but it's really difficult to do that to track and blur text um at least i found it difficult and i really spent hours trying to do it and it wouldn't work properly because the names show up in so many different so i ended up just asking hey look i want to do this video um but i'm just a bit worried about the names and they said it's fine because the student's surname isn't there and their face isn't there it's just kind of their student nickname so uh i did get the green light to go ahead and do this okay cool now for real let's uh let's see me do some reports i just saw a 25 minute oup class and i'm going to do the progress report it's uh good to remember that you can use the teacher's guide from oup classes in the progress report there's a useful part at the end so if i click material here it'll open the session and i'm just going to go to the last page and i'm going to copy this control c so you the wrap up for feedback report it's a nice little wrap up and a good summary of the class that you can copy i'm going to go back click progress report okay and let's go through it so on time that's right and the material actually there was a mistake in the material let me show you if we look at page six so page six here see at the bottom it says that's beautiful i wish i played liked that olga says so i'm actually going to note that in the materials section on page 6 on the last line it should say i wish i played uh so does the material contain any errors yes all right back to the main report we need to click this incomplete button here and it will open all of the report so how was this student organization i'd say was great interaction great motivation great i'm not going to put out stand in because it wasn't outstanding uh word reading phonics and decoding yeah good um his pronunciation was pretty good reading comprehension was outstanding i think he read the text with no problem and understood everything grammar and expression i'm gonna put adequate the student was level five uh and made some grammar mistakes but nothing too severe so it's adequate spoken language great was good at expressing himself um and used uh quite a lot of vocabulary listening and responding um i think i'll i'll stand in for that because he was really interactive and engaged and listened to me well and answered all my questions participation and interaction i'm gonna put out standing there as well so now we want to talk about the students performance if we click this we get a bit of advice on how to fill the report it says we recommend you provide constructive feedback to your student from the following perspectives part one generally summarize students performance in class and give them practice and encouragement part two topic vocabulary sentences and grammar knowledge of the lesson that students need more practice on after class and number three don't hesitate to point out students insufficient aspects and leave advice if you took notes from the session please edit the text to ensure the statement is smooth and avoid grammar mistakes uh that's why i have grammarly okay so i'm gonna start by again going to the last page on the feedback report and copying this in and i'm just going to save that for now i'm going to start by saying was eager to express himself and share his ideas in today's session uh grammarly helps you sometimes but you always have to reread what you're writing just in case you make mistakes and grammarly might not pick that up okay um he spoke confidently and had no problem when answering questions even difficult questions um today oh actually now i can use this part so i'm just gonna use this and i'm gonna edit it so today we reviewed i'm gonna put some previously learned vocabulary we read understood leave my oxford comma there and discussed a text about olga alonso and i think it's mr perez let me just check i'll go along so mr parents yep and olga's flute playing talents so you know add a bit of color to it remind the student what the class was about we learned and reviewed the following vocabulary words notes wait worried the flue tears solo hummingbird record and musician okay now this is all well and good uh but i think that we should give maybe a little bit of constructive criticism as well and then finish on a high note so alex would benefit from practicing his ability no grammarly practicing with an s is the correct way to spell it in british english if it's a verb anyway alex would benefit from practicing his ability to structure sentences with correct grammar okay um alex should try to remember how to use the present continuous he had a little problem with present continuous in the class for example she is playing the flute when things are happening now or when describing pictures i'm gonna make this a new sentence when things are happening now or when we are describing pictures we use the present continuous then i might just put subject plus is plus verb ing i think that's clear enough um and then maybe you know end on a little high note you can see that you know this this report is already uh much longer than it needs to be it's already um twice the length that it needs to be but i think this is a good way to it's a good way to do reports and do shorter ones in the future do longer ones uh this is just an example of what i do so i want to end on a high note um maybe now i'll kind of address the student so thank you so much for being engaged and for doing your best in today's class i look forward to seeing you again soon and that's it all right uh do i have any suggestions no everything was fine can't upgrade or downgrade that's fine as well is in the right level i'd say uh so i'll click save uh maybe i i can't change it now but i just double checked so obviously to express themselves and spaceships but confidently no problem we're asking questions we have little questions today we reduce some previously learned vocabulary we read understood and discussed attacks about algebra hello mr paris and all this food playing talents we learned in review the following vocabulary words notes wait wait flutes here called ammunition actually benefit from practice ability to structure sentences with correct grammar alex she tries to remember how to use continuous for example she's playing the flute one thing that's happening now one minute one picture we use specifically thank you so much for being engaged in your best in today's class i look forward to seeing you again soon good okay yeah we can save that you can edit it once you've already saved it um but it's always good to reread and let's submit we're done that's the report done so that's how i do my oup reports and i rely heavily on the teacher's guide not heavily but i rely on that to give me uh you know a bit of extra meat to put in my report but when it comes to all the other reports like rec 25s and reg 45s i rely more on my own little notepad so this is the notepad that i usually have open while i'm teaching it's just a it's just a notepad you've got one on your computer probably just type in notepad in windows search or finder on your mac or whatever and it's just open on the side as i teach and i just type notes little quick notes as we go through the class you know a couple of lines uh per class and it really helps me later on when i need to come back and uh you know do the reports it might look like a lot but it really isn't you know it's just a quick one line um something i notice as we go through uh just to give you an idea this one clear pronunciation struggled with vocabulary the word precipitation was hard for the student i i wouldn't remember this even if i looked at the class and looked at the student's name that wouldn't jump out unless you know i'd written it before so this is really really helpful it's it's scary how easily we forget things so this is good uh he needs to extend answers he has low energy i'm starting to remember him now and this was the vocabulary it's always good to write down the vocabulary maybe ahead of time and then you can put that in your put that in your report ten o'clock one given in sharing so i usually write the uh the title of the lesson at the top maybe the name as well very engaged and focused responds quickly to questions good reading fluency struggled with the past tense dump and scoop were new words and that was the vocab so you'll notice that you know i i actually touch on the positive things and the negative things as well you know could extend a bit more for the 10 30. uh needs to extend answers more again often one to two word answers for the 11 o'clock for the 11 30 uh struggled with verb ing versus verb to do let's go ahead and write a report based on the notes that i've got so i'm going to click progress report and it'll take me to this familiar page so the material was actually good i'd say the usability of the material uh wasn't that good it was a bit difficult to teach it was quite short and the purpose it was all about the water cycle and maybe great length good wasn't that good anyway uh let's get to the the main part so organization uh i would say adequate his interaction was it was adequate it wasn't great it wasn't outstanding motivation i would say that his motivation was a little bit below par so i'm really honest when it comes to these reports his word reading let's see did i say anything about reading i didn't but he had clear pronunciation i think his word reading was pretty good uh reading comprehension was adequate grammar and expression adequate as well spoken language i'd say adequate listening and responding that was good uh participation and interaction i'm gonna put adequate as well it does feel a bit harsh but you know he wasn't a great or outstanding student i was a good student and there were some areas in which he needs to improve especially for his level so let's go ahead and write some feedback based on my notes so um did a great job in today's session i know you're probably thinking i should write adequate job right but overall he did a great job all things considered um in today's session about the water cycle on earth he had good pronunciation and he spoke quite clearly the vocabulary we learned in today's class or the vocabulary words we learned in today's class were precipitation evaporation hydrosphere and transpiration tim did well when making sentences with the new words but struggled when it came to precipitation which he now knows means reign grammarly help me thank you when answering questions could extend his answers and answer with a little more enthusiasm and energy remember interest is the key to learning effectively it's nice to put in a you know a cheesy little uh inspirational quote and i think that's that's just about everything so thank you and i hope to see you again soon so let's just read this report back and and we'll see how kind of fleshed out is and it sounds uh you know quite complete did a great job today's session earth yeah clearly a couple words would lead to face class presentation operation transformation sentences with the words what struggles with precipitation which he now knows means which he now knows means reign that makes sense right when answering questions tim clinton's answers and answers a little more enthusiasm and energy that's a bit confusing so when answering questions tim should try to extend his answers and answer with a little more enthusiasm and energy remember interesting i hope to see you again soon i'm pretty happy with that and then i have all my notes for my next classes and i just go ahead and do the same let's fill the rest out here um none of that really applies okay upgrade level nine to level ten from today's class i wouldn't agree that an upgrade is right for the student i think that more extension is needed more extension is needed needed and i would have liked to have seen a bit more expression now what am i trying to say so i'd like to have seen the student express himself and talk more about personal feelings opinions and views uh let's save that for now and we'll check it all uh you guys can see i downloaded a gif of stinky tofu i'm always downloading gifs and stuff of things to show to students anyway that's how i do it i hope this was useful for you like the video if you liked the video and subscribe if you want i'll see you next time cheers you
