hey guys just want to show you a quick and easy tutorial on how to get a custom email signature and to put an image in there to make it look really nice really professional so as you can see this is my email signature i've got an image in here i've got some formatted text so i'm going to show you guys how to do that so first of all let me get out of this you're going to go to mail and then you're going to hit preferences and then you're going to select the account that you want to edit the signature for and as you can see i've got this one already up in here and so to create a new one you're going to hit this plus right here and now we can rename it whatever you'd like signature and then i've already got some text copied so i'm going to delete that i'm going to paste it in there and then skip down where i want my image to go in and i've already created this image over here and there's a really cool website called canva.com can va.com that you can create custom images for free and that's where i created this one at and as you can see the dimensions on this image is 996 pixels by 174 and i'm just going to go ahead and drop that right in and then there you go now if you want to format the font or the color of the text as well highlight the text that you want to format hit command t on your keyboard and then this box will pop up and you can change the size you can change the font to whatever you'd like and then you can also change the color which is really cool so as you can see the color is now changing to get a really cool customized um email signature there we go green just for the fun of it and there you go you've got a brand new custom email signature and now when you [Music] compose a new message now you can see when i compose a new message this is the old signature now we can go to new signature and there you go it's got the custom green formatting and it's got the image in there as well there's there's a few different ways that you can get images in there by embedding code and stuff like that but i found that this is a really easy quick and simple way to get a custom looking email signature
