in this video I want to show you how to rename project folders and solution within a visual studio on the right hand side you can see that I have a project and solution by the name of product object light - and I don't like that I want to change it to product object in addition I want to make sure that my folder structure where the code is being stored is being reflected with product object as well here's a product object light - so the first thing you want to do is you want to shut down a visual studio you may also want to wait a couple seconds to make sure that it completely shuts down before you start renaming some of the folders or else you'll get a warning like right now so I've wait a couple more seconds all right there you go able to change that and there's a couple areas where you would have to change from your previous in my case product object light to the product object there's the original for then there's this folder you also want to change the solution if you wanted to and then within this folder the project file now once you're done renaming you want to open up visual studio by clicking on the solution file so in this case project solution Visual Studio will fire up and it's gonna prepare to solution in this case everything loaded up fine and I'm able to compile we see the solution and the projects now product object in some cases it may not find the project in which case it'll say the project file the projects not existing so in which case what you would do is essentially you would just move the project and then you'll have something that looks like this and then essentially you will add the existing project and navigate to the GS prod file so in this case by an object that's es project and there you have it and that's how you rename project folder and solution with an Visual Studio and also have it reflected in the folder structure where your Co is being stored thanks
