hi as discussed in the last tutorials now in this tutorial i will be showing how to view edita set how to browse a data set how to rename a data set sorry how to edit a data set how to rename and how to delete a data set using a different option so how to do that first i will be typing three and then four so to in order to come to this data set list utility screen so there are two ways to come so other one is directly three then press o four right so the other way to come to the screen is type three point four so that it you can come directly to the screen so now here i wanted to list what are the different data sets i have so i have two different data three different data sets the first two are physical sequentially does it another is a pds data sets by looking at this data sets how can you know this is physical sequential data set or pds data set this is difficult right no i will be showing you in the next tutorials how to identify that whether it's a physical sequential file or a partition dataset file how to identify that we'll cover that in the next tutorial for now as discussed we need to know the alternate way to view create to view delete rename edit or browse and we'll also see what is the difference between view and browse so here there are different commands right so in order to view it this line you can press any anything between this you can place the cursor anywhere here and just type v and press enter and again press enter see you can see in a different screen has been popped up that is view entry panel then enter again and you can view the data sets so what operations you can do in a view mode you can create you can write some text here right you can write the text but you can you can write the text for simple design or to get some idea about this thing and but when you try to say this you cannot save this right in view mode you can view the data and also you can write the data but you cannot save the data right so this is the command this is a shortcut way to enter into the view mode after you know the data set name and that is by v and another way is b b stands for browse mode and you can see the name here browse so within this browse you cannot edit or you cannot enter an extra text here and also you cannot save this this is just only browse mode you understand right the difference between view and browse mode in view mode you can enter a text but you cannot save it in browse mode just...
