hi everyone Amy Hall here with MailChimp L I received a question about how to resend and email to people who had not opened the first emailed Englishness so I'm going to show you how to do the process and I'm also going to give you a checklist to download to do the process with alright that's me go to share my screen alright so here we are on the MailChimp dashboard the first thing we're going to do is go to campaign we're going to make sure that we're in the correct audience if you only have one audience then it will always be the correct audience but if you have more than one audience then you'll need to check this let's go to my last email and let me the first if I want to resend this again to the people who did not open the first thing I'm going to do is click this down arrow and then I'm going to replicate now I've popped up with the replicated email I'm going to edit the name so second sends did you did not open this save this everything here should be the same as the first time I sent it out the subject is also the same as the first time I send it out so you may want to change the subject but it's not entirely necessary but here's where we want to go to we want to go to edit recipients we're in our correct audience but we need a segment so we're going to go to group or new segment and we're going to go to campaign activity campaign did not open this specific email Shopify notification on that date and now when we save will see that we have a new number of recipients here so these are everyone who did not open the Shopify email the very first time and you're going to get some of the people who did open the Shopify email in this number of recipients how MailChimp deals with registering and open is do they have a pixel and image pixel that when the email opens it populates so it shows up it doesn't people can't see it but now it registers for MailChimp so if people do not download the images their email will not be triggered as open in MailChimp if people read your email in a preview campaign a preview pane of their email INBOX it will not be triggered as open so those people who may have read your email will get another email alright now we have the campaign all lined up to go and you can either schedule here or you can finish later we're going to go ahead and schedule we're going to schedule this for next Monday so remember on Monday the 28th does the next Tuesday at 6:15 a.m. and under the schedule to campaign awesome as all scheduled ready to go this email being sent to people who did not open the email the first time all right Danish
