always you know I've been too so I you know you've been a lot of these right yes this before celebration though so I went to everyone starting in O two I missed the first one in the rain in Denver which I always regretted so I like coming out to these this it's always different perspective for me because a lot of times right behind us is the autograph all I'd spend all my time there I'd never leave it now I have a booth with Beckett so I'm kind of working and I do stuff with another group Star Wars autograph universe where we do live casts and stuff like that so I try to be visual try to get out there for everybody and I'm having a great time excellent so for people who might not know Beca deaf indication services are can you give us absolutely so we are a third-party authentication service so you get something signed at the show you could bring it to us you have something you don't know about you you have a peter cushing Peter diamond you have an Arnold Schwarzenegger it doesn't matter John Kennedy John Major could be anybody you want to know if it's real or not you could bring it to us that's our expertise that's what I do for a living I've been doing so I've driven volved in autographs for about 40 years it started an eight year old and it's been it's it's really tough to explain sometimes we just part of my kind of my DNA you know yeah and I knew it at an early age and I have a good knack for telling what's good and bad I have an exemplar database I use and also we have a staff of guys just not me but there's really skilled guys we've chased autographs we've been to these shows we've set up we've been dealers worked at auction houses so we have a rich history in the autograph world excellent and then you've also got a very large collection of autographed yourself yeah it's a little bit out of control I've seen many of them on there the stores autograph the universe of course if you mentioned oh yeah you know I remember the group myself what's a what's the one autograph your fame your collection you're most proud of you know it's funny oh proud of okay so dumb that's a good question I don't I I don't I have so many diverse ones and different ones I don't know if I have like a maybe my first Harrison Ford that I got in person in 92 that would be up there it's on a cab shop the Aven metal scene I love that okay so that's number one and then people always say well who don't you have well I don't have Richard Marquand who directed Jedi I never got one Graham Ashley who's one of the pilots from Star Wars the original he died about a year year and a half after the movie came out okay and dust web that's from Empire he was the original wampa they put him out actually in Hoth they they had this huge like guy on stilts he was huge too they never used the footage but he was the wampa so those are three from each movie that I do not have that I'd love to have fantastic if you could help me out unfortunately not know I've only people I think I guess it's two thousand and two thousand seven ish at the first celebration in London and I was there yeah it was interesting show I was a good shoe there was a lot of fun yeah and I really read my fire and it's fun you know what it's a lot of fun to do it I think the new movies help us out too and I'm not as intense if I see like the EM fees nest character who's here Erin Kelly men and women um I like the character so I got a few things signed but I'm not as gung-ho for that stuff anymore you know I like the old stuff still and I think I made the mistake maybe like some people as I invested so much time effort money into the prequels Phantom Menace clone Sith and I feel like it's it's lost on me I don't really care about it anymore so I don't want to I really don't want to invest in anything new now you know I just want to keep it old trilogy as much as I can in terms of the fan for tracks sorry the Bekaa dedications services yeah you could explain the process a little bit well let's just say you bring by I and Alec Guinness okay I'm gonna take it I'm gonna look at it I'm gonna inspect it usually I know pretty quickly if it's good or not now but there are times when I'm just saying wait a minute I need to check my database so I start going through my stuff I start going through stuff I know is real and I start comparing the signatures and it you know it's a lot more than just looking at two signatures you have to go and depth into an autograph I look at the overlapping how someone signs their name the pressure they use because even you how you sign your name you use a certain pressure you hold you hol Pan at a certain angle but we're not all the same as human beings so you might angle it you might sign up right okay most people do it all different so you have to pick up on that stuff and I really do that's one thing I've a knack for is looking at a signature and figuring out okay he's got that right pressure he's got the right flow he's got the right size I see how it works perfect and it's real built one okay I've not seen this my eyes closed oh I was gonna say I was a little stumped here is this your signature okay we're wait I'm did you guys ever watch Johnny Carson Carnac I think the big thing okay okay hold on hold on Wow very nice okay so this sign it looks like a cut down piece here good wishes Alec Guinness it looks like maybe something that was probably signed in person if I had to guess almost too you know because he did sign his mail for many years but there we go and I'll tell you what I'm gonna hold the mic and look at this so if I look at this signature Alec Guinness was notorious for doing this if you look at it it's one continuous flow yeah okay so that's how Alec Guinness loved to sign he had this beautiful autograph that was just a continuous law let me flip it back around real quick and you see here first name last name goes into it this is a paragraph at the bottom yeah which he liked to include and we see right under signature the pair F it's perfect so that's a really nice autograph I thought you guys were tricking me here I'm like what's going on over here I guess that's in person though that's at least it looks to me like instead of the mail stuff which you know it turns out most the autographs we see now are stuff that was signed in the mail yeah but this is actually something I would say it was signed in person very nice yeah lovely yeah you did good well you know what the one thing I want to say is that we are giving away a Harrison Ford at our boot oh you just have to come register for it we have all the details there and honestly I I want to promote collecting and enjoying it and I will tell you what this show is done in all honesty I thought that the autograph hall would be so so you know it's been a success for tops and everybody there and I'm really happy for that yeah because the industry this the collecting is strong that's awesome and that's what we want you know it's bringing in all these young kids and I've been in that autograph Hall and it's all younger people and we want to bring that in and I think that is a beautiful thing it's good for for our business it's positive I just want positivity because there's too much negativity out there with people and I you know the talk before the show is that oh the guests aren't good and it's not it's fine people just want to meet the actors and different people I think it's wonderful and what a positive experience seriously because the last show in Orlando was kind of kind of a train wreck but they have switched it around and it's been wonderful so you know it's been absolutely slick service of devote with they over there like ways you spectate occasion services and as well thank you very much in the past that the service is always fantastic and also you know we do come to the UK yeah be in Birmingham collector mania June 2nd and 3rd I'll be at London filming comic-con and that's at the end of joy at three days show I just don't have it up on my head right now 26 to 28 that sounds about right yeah so we'll be there Friday Saturday Sunday everyday come see us there we do the same thing there that we do here it's the same exact service I'll be on-site you can ask me any questions everybody could come see me and it's a great venue you know I mean it's different layers and people everywhere and craziness but it's awesome this very show yeah and which movie yet this weekend the Beckett booth which I can't remember that booth number but it's right at the exit of the autograph hall literally right at the exit yeah just come see us over there I'm in there a lot I'm gone a lot and also you know something new I brought in penny McCarthy did you get a chance to meet penny not yet no I've got a piece in the hole somewhere my Cantina piece which is okay right if if you get a chance go say hi to penny Penny's a friend of mine my friend a group of us we discovered penny about a year and a half ago lovely lady if you get a chance I'm just not trying to plug her but I just want people to meet people like penny who never got anything for working on Star Wars okay she was worked at ILM as a clerk in the office they put all the masks on her she worked in five six different costumes that day but now she's getting a little credit so say hi to her if you get a chance because she loves that
