[Music] hi my name is mindy guillory and i'm with cns occupational medicine i am a certified occupational health nurse and a certified occupational hearing conservation technician i assist in the on-site audio metric testing that we can provide to your employees per the osha standard 29 cfr 1910.95 employers are required to make audio metric testing available to all employees who are exposed to noise levels above 85 decibels averaged over eight working hours employers are also required to maintain a hearing conservation program to include monitoring testing follow-up training and record keeping audiograms are required annually for all new employees within one year of an employee's first exposure at or above the action level audiometric testing monitors an employee's hearing over time during the audiogram the employee will wear a set of headphones and respond to tones administered at different frequencies in each ear this type of testing identifies the employee's hearing levels and helps to identify deterioration in the employee's hearing ability as soon as possible this enables employers to initiate protective measures before hearing loss progresses cns ahmed will complete all audiometric testing at the employers worksite within our state-of-the-art mobile audio metric unit we are able to comfortably test six employees at a time within the mobile unit thus increasing your productivity and eliminating the inconvenience of sending your employees to off-site clinics employees will be back to work within 30 minutes cns has a variety of training and counseling options to fit your needs including doing our on-site hearing conservation training as required by osha we also offer follow-up testing within 30 days for standard threshold shifts all of the services we offer are available in a variety of languages to meet the needs of your workforce all the equipment is properly disinfected between each test to ensure a safe testing environment for your employees all testing will be performed by cnf employees who are certified by chaoc as an occupational hearing conservation technician in addition our program is overseen by a physician who reviews all hearing tests that have a standard threshold shift or a medical referral and will make further medical recommendations as necessary employees will receive an immediate electronic report of their hearing test prior to leaving the mobile unit we also provide the company with a list of all employees who are tested provide a report of all tests and recommend any further follow-up or osha reporting responsibilities that are required please call 717-839-5466 for any questions and to schedule your audiometric testing [Music]
