in this video from Casio help we're looking at the problem of receipt printing on the s e-g wall model we get a lot of queries from customers asking how to stop the receipt issuing with every transaction or even how to deactivate the printer . unfortunately on the SE g1 is not possible to deactivate the printer permanently so with every transaction the printer will print something so in receipt mode when you process a transaction or sale you get a nice receipt printout if you don't want that to happen the only thing you can do is set the machine to print in journal mode so to do this there's two steps you turn the key to PGM then enter one subtotal followed by zero CH we then take a closer look at the let's just print it out by pressing the feed key you can see we've got printer now set to journal that's step one step two we need to feed some more of the paper through and basically we're looking to fit the paper to the take-up spawn at the back of the machine also we've got enough paper fed through we can get a nice thick straight edge to the paper justify makes it a bit easier to fit the paper to the spool when you do this you're looking for the two slots on the take-up spool and you're looking to push the paper underneath though for those slots once you've done that second one's always a bit more tricky but once you've done that you can then as you thick the spool back into place turn it are the papers tied and winding round to check they've done that correctly you can turn the key back to reg and then press the feed button and you can see that the take-up swans turn in and the paper is speeded nicely on to them spool then pop the printer cover back on if we now process for sale instead of actually printing out of the front of the machine we lift this off we now get the journal equivalent of a receipt so there's no receipt ed up but you still get the time the transaction number and the sale amount appear on your journal report when you do use that report at the end of the day this will also prints on the journal roll for more information on the casio MSC to one another Casio cash registers please visit casio help co dot uk' thanks for watching
