gonna present to you a video about affirmations and now following my video about the conscious and subconscious mind and I spoke a lot about affirmations in that video I'm gonna link the two and show you how you can use affirmations you know to kind of help to reprogram yourself you know so first of all affirmations what are they and affirmations is basically mostly positive statements that you use to try create a vibration of what you're trying to manifest in your life you know as I said previous in my video the power of your words and thoughts every word you speak is an affirmation every thoughts you have is also affirming things you know so we have the things we speak in our lives are sometimes negative the things we speak in our lives are sometimes positive sometimes you have very poor negative self-talk you know we speak very poorly of ourselves and even sometimes we say it in in the form of humor and you know understanding how the subconscious mind work in the other video I have done you don't you don't want to be even making jokes that's negative about yourself why because your subconscious mind don't know the different sides just a joke as I said your subconscious mind is like a recorder you know so you keep affirming certain things to yourself like oh I'm so at least I'm always late that's an affirmation you say to yourself I'm always late you keep affirming that to yourself you're always gonna be late because you keep creating the vibration of much for that you keep speaking that into your universe and when I say your universe everything is on a macro and micro level there's the collected univer the collective universe you know of everyone but it's also your universe because only you see things the way you do only you perceive things the way you do or you experience like the way you do so your universe will completely be different to my universe so the things that you're attracting in your life the things that's coming into your life they are interacting now with all the experiences all the obstacles you've kind of manifested them there you've kind of manifested them because you are create so you've manifest these with your words you manifested these with your thoughts with your own actions so you have the ability to consciously the reality you're trying to experience and I'm gonna today I'm gonna speak about how you can do that you know through the means of affirmations now there's gonna be much more things you need to do more than affirmations because people think for instance people think by saying oh you know I'm gonna be a successful entrepreneur I can get some and affirm that to myself on a daily basis and look myself in the mirror be like I'm gonna be a successful entrepreneur but if I'm not actually doing anything how am I supposed to be a successful entrepreneur you have to work with the universe you have to work with the universe be very intentional with what you're asking for be very direct and be very clear and concise and be very choosy of the language you'll use in with the universe of what you're trying to affirm and your actions need to match your intention so everything needs to be in in synchronicity so if my thought is I want to be a successful entrepreneur and I'm a firm in that to myself keep telling that to myself mentally programing myself for that and I'm telling that to my universe that I need to have the action with it as well see when you have all of this in sync that's when you offer affirmations work because I'm not gonna be on a successful entrepreneur if I just keep saying it and I'm not actually making any moves to be an entrepreneur you know so this is what we need to do make sure that everything is in alignment be very intentional with your thoughts with your words with what you're programming yourself and what the actions you're taking to match the affirmations or whatever it is that you're trying to achieve you know so limitations can be placed on our live is on by ourselves by you know the things we say to ourselves constantly repetitively jokingly or even the things that were said to us constantly by our parents or family or our friends or our teachers oh you're no good at this all your apps your stupid people take that on and then people start to live up to the label you know so it's very important for you to be aware of where your limitations lie of where your self-destructiveness come from or what kind of self-destructive behavior that you possess or attitude that you possess about yourself and learn to override this you know so let's get into how to write an formation right so let's get into it and how do we make affirmations so you can make positive affirmations about yourself or you can make goals specific affirmations so-called specific whether it be in money and love or career or future success that's called specific or you can make positive self affirmations are not always like to start with myself before anything else because I feel like if I'm wholesome and I'm solid then anything else is achievable to me so I like to start with myself first so I make self affirmations based on areas that I've struggled in like I'm not a morning person and I always said this to myself I'm not a morning person not on money but and I literally really do struggle in the morning so how I can combat that with affirmation is you know you want to make your affirmation short and concise because as I said before in my other video with the power of words and language is the English language can be perverse so you don't want to use any kind of negative language in it you want it to be short and sweet you know for instance you if you say I like Apple you need to be very specific with your universe because there's a variation of Apple so say I like green apples you know so that's about example but I'm just saying be very specific be very short be very concise be very intentional be very direct with what you're saying so for instance if it's a positive affirmation about myself say I'm a depressive person your affirmation could be I'm happy I'm always happy I'm always happy I'm always happy I'm always happy and you can keep saying that to yourself over and over and over and you might feel stupid doing it at first because you're gonna feel like yeah I'm saying this but inside I really feel sad but that's the whole point keep saying it keep saying it until it becomes true with affirmations when you say in it you have to create the feeling of happiness even though deep down inside of you you might feel sad but when you say I'm happy think about happy things things think about things that make you happy and create that feeling because your feelings gonna amplify the words and the thoughts and you know in kind of resonate in that so when you love each what you're trying to love that in your mind you're telling your subconscious mind what happiness feels like so if you say I'm happy I'm happy feel it when you're saying it feel it when you say it to log it in your mind to log it in your bean if you struggle with anxiety say you can say something like I'm always calm I'm always calm and feel that peace feel that calmness you don't want to say I I don't struggle with anxiety because language as I say is a tricky thing you don't want to use any negative words in your affirmations you don't want to say I don't know negative just just just try and keep it all positive so instead of saying I don't struggle with anxiety just say I'm always calm I'm always calm so yeah you want to be very specific in what you're saying and you want to be very mindful of the language make sure you don't use any negatives like I don't or not or I don't do this anymore none of that just create a positive version of what it is you're trying to say for instance for me I procrastinate a lot and this is me saying that to myself again so I get things done quickly I get things done quickly I get things done quickly you know I'm very you can say like I'm very efficient with my time and manage my time very well and manage my time very well I get tasks done very quickly stuff like that you can use to override so instead of me saying I procrastinate all the time and you can say I manage my time very well I get tasks done very quickly those are two two separate affirmations short and concise and it's the opposite of what I just said without using any negative language in there so that's that's how you want to create your affirmations for instance say if it's like a goal orientated affirmation and you want to be a doctor in the future say to yourself I'm I'm a very good doctor I'm a very good doctor I'm a very good doctor I'm a very good doctor so you know you know once you've decided areas that you're lacking in and you know what you want to correct create a positive statement for them as I said make sure it's short concise specific no negative language so write write a list of all the area of all the things you struggle with if they're personal or write a list of all the the goal orientated affirmations that you're trying to create and then on the opposite side you're gonna create a short and concise very intentional statement to combat the negative and those are what you're gonna be your affirmations and I would say work on a few at a time you don't want to bombard yourself up a whole lot so for me I'm working on a lot I'm working on myself a lot at the minute like I'm working on just my piece and and you know my piece not being disturbed by others and stuff like that so you work on maybe I don't know three or four affirmations at a time and for me they're all self at the minute and how what I do with my affirmations I write them out and I stick them on my mirror so in the morning when I'm getting ready in the mirror I read them out to myself I read them out to myself I also record them on my phone I also said reminders on my phone that goes off several times in the day I play them to myself and I keep reinforced all these positive statements to myself all of them and and you know it might feel you know at first that like okay this doesn't feel real but believe me to how your brain works the technology of your brain you're gonna absorb that and eventually that statement it's gonna become true you know so for some people they're like well you know why it is my affirmation doesn't work I'm gonna tell you why your affirmation there's possibilities why your affirmation does the work it needs to be credible and it needs to be achievable so don't be affirming outrageous things that your reality or your current situation or your actions can't even match or need you know so like don't peep don't don't get outrageous with it you know start with yourself first and start with you your goals first and you know build yourself up from that way and other reasons why affirmations won't work as I mentioned in my previous video of the consciousness of conscious mind is you may not have the program to support what you're trying to achieve so maybe you need to go a bit further than affirmations and rewrite you know your subconscious programming through repetition of whatever you know to support what you're trying to achieve and also you know as I said before other reasons why your affirmations won't work is because you know you're saying them but you're not taking any actions towards them like for instance say if it's a career-focused one you could be like you know I want to achieve a bachelor's degree by next year that's not achievable that's not quite why because the bachelors take three years and secondly you may not even be enrolled at university so you know be very realistic with it and once you follow those rules and just keep on repeating this remember that your your subconscious mind will absorb it I'm going to show you the power of your mind think about a song that you know when you first heard that song on the radio you thought oh my god I can't stand this song this song is just horrible and then you've heard it so much it replayed it replayed it replayed your subconscious mind loved it and then you find you just casually washing the dishes or you do write in a paper and then you're humming the song or you're singing along to the song and you have to feel like what am I thinking a song I don't like this song that's the power of affirmations repetition and reprogram in and change in your mind that's the power of the mind so that's the power of how things when it keeps getting repeated to you whether it's positive or negative how it affects you how you live it out how you play it out how it comes out in your life in certain manifestations if they were experiences through people through obstacles through you know things that you do successfully I really hope this made sense sometimes when I'm talking I've got so much going on in my head that I want to let out I don't feel like my mouth is moving quick enough to get it out so I really hope it's connecting and at least get the basics of how you create your affirmations you know so for instance if I'm if you're always sad you just want to counter write that by saying I'm always happy not not say something like I'm not sad anymore you don't want to use any negatives so I'm always happy use only positive words that make it very short make it very intentional and make sure you know you're very specific you know I want to be so you want it to be like I don't know a doctor but I like a surge in a specific surgeon you don't want to just affirm that I want to be a doctor you want to affirm I'm gonna I'm gonna be the best throat surgeon in you know the medical field you want to be very specific with the affirmation
