front of my stockpile just talking to you so yeah subscribe to her channel so anyway the reason why i'm in here because really i have nowhere else to record okay you might hear some noise in the background but anyway her i'm gonna hurry up and she can i can explain why i'm here in front of the stockpile with bad lighting okay so the reason why i'm here is because i want to discuss saving challenges okay so everybody know 2020 have been horrible it been bad it gave me gas okay if you don't know me by now i love to joke okay so 2020 have been terrible but what helped me get back with 2020 i was one of the um people that lost their job during the pandemic and what helped me get back is saving challenges and being prepared for something like this happening so because we see how things can turn around in an instant or things can happen in an instant we need to be prepared okay majority of us couponers are already prepared when it comes down to our stockpiles and stuff like that but we need to be prepared financially when it comes down to at least saving money okay so i wanted to show you several uh saving challenges that i have done for at least a year or two that helped me get back they helped me not have to go into debt just for christmas they help me the catch up on bill or to pay down debt okay and all these challenges i will leave a chart and um the link to the chart in the description box just in case you want to print it and do some of these challenges with me okay so let's start off with the first challenge the first challenge i would say is more like the beginner challenge and that challenge is the dollar challenge okay and i'm showing it to you right here i might even put a close-up screen up here so you can really see what i'm talking about okay so the dollar challenge is basically you save a dollar every week now not a dollar every week let me explain what i mean week one you will save one dollar week two you will save two dollars week three you will save three dollars and so forth and so forth okay now i have this thing with my saving challenges okay i don't know if it's a mad thing or what it is i cannot be able to get to my money quick i can't be able to get to it if i'm able to get to it i will pinch off of it just because i i don't know i think it's a mad thing so how i do this challenge is that i put it in this okay i will also leave the link to this um canister um little piggy back thing also in the description box also okay so i use this the reason why is because the only way you can open this is with the can opener you cannot open this at all but with a can opener i used to use a um a liquor bottle or a glass bottle because i know you have to break it just to get in it but there was too much mess okay we i did that this um year i said that was too much of mess trying to break that look about it it was too much so when i saw this on amazon i said okay this sound much safer less house so basically this is how i do it okay each week i would highlight each week that i deposit money in here okay now sometimes if i sell a bundle okay i'm just using this as an example if i sell a bundle and the bundle is thirty dollars i would put five dollars i would put five dollars to the side for my five dollar challenge i will show that show you that in a minute and then i would also put five dollars in ones for my dollar challenge and then i would keep the twenty dollars for myself so i won't feel like i'm um taking all my money and just saving it while i run into a bad i would still have some money in my pocket okay so that's how i do my dollar challenge once i get to whatever like right now the nate's um when i have to reach is twenty dollars so once i get to twenty dollars in ones if i wait to my payday or whatever the case may be once i get to twenty dollars at once i will put it in here i wait till i get to my goal and whatever the sheet says the sheet will be in the description box and i put it in i put the 20 ones in here or whatever the gold is pretty much okay the nate's challenge that i want to discuss is the five dollar challenge now if you feel a little intimidated with the five dollar challenge like i say is you could do it as you go um some people say well you got to have it you got to fit the chart you got to fit the chart i feel like do it do it as you go don't feel so intimidated because then you want to feel like you fail as long as you save some money i feel like that is accomplishment all by itself but this right here if i save go by this chart i would say seven thousand dollars in a year okay now i start my challenge in october the reason why is because usually around november everything you know that's when the sales and stuff happen for christmas so i usually start in october so by next year in october i can pretty much take this money out that would be my year okay so right here as you can see i've been you know marking things off so same thing that apply with the dollar challenge will apply to the five dollar challenge week one you would say five dollars week two you would save ten dollars week three you would say 15 and so forth and so forth okay as i go i will highlight the ones that i already saved okay i will also probably put a screamer you'll probably see a screen and i will also link this chart in the description box below okay so this is pretty much the five dollar challenge okay so this is how it goes okay you will most likely see a close-up of the challenge the last challenge that i am doing okay now this challenge is pretty much good and a fun challenge this will also be good like if you have your husband or significant other you want to participate you know with okay and that is say opaly now say ugly okay is basically like monopoly you will roll a dice and whatever you landed on that we that's how much you have to save that week okay so i will also put a close-up of this up up for you know so basically that's how that goes okay so if you save if you landed on 15 that means that we would have to save 15 if you roll the dice again and you um the following week and you stand on twenty that mean you would have to save twenty dollars that week so if you get paid by weekly that means that that would be thirty five dollars you have to take out your check that we for the save to put to the side okay now that means that i need to i'm not gonna laugh i just put my little say opely money in this envelope right here which i said what i'm going to do is i'm going to get another canister like this and start putting my say awfully money in this canister because i see already because i've been doing this since october my fingers have been itching to get some money out of this so that being said i already said okay i need to get another canister okay so these are the saving challenges that i plan on doing so far it haven't i don't even think about it because i can't get into the um i can't get into this anyway and i'm about to buy me another one of these so i could put this in there so it won't i won't be thinking about it okay so i hope this helped oh i also write down for say awfully i also write down you can mark it on the paper but i write massiopoly down in like a booklet uh uh each week and how much i'm supposed to say when i roll the dice okay so i hope these challenges um kind of help you i know i probably said you know sound aqua look a little nervous because i don't really like being in front of the camera if you don't you know take notice i don't really like being in front of the camera but i wanted um everybody that you know follow me and i want to help y'all in the most you know in the best way that i can and part of that where i would say if you kind of feel intimidated with sayopoly and you feel intimidated with uh yes i said intimidating wrong probably and if you feel intimidated with the five dollar challenge please start with the dollar challenge just get started if you do the dollar challenge for a whole year at each um by the end of the year you will save one thousand three hundred and seventy dollars if you stick with it for the whole year okay
