hi everybody it's valentina i'm back for another video it's sunday i hope everyone is doing well i had a few emails from uh new subscribers by the way thank you so much for the new subscribers i'm i don't have that many but i'm kind of slowly growing which is really really awesome because i think a lot of people are interested in this topic and especially don't want to be um lied to it they'll want to be you led to believe that amazon fba is this you know end all and be all and you can just you know uh you know invest very little money and just sit back and do nothing and you know see money rolling in which is not the case absolutely not the case so thank you so much for the new subscribers i really appreciate every single one of you and i've had a few emails this past week uh from people you know saying so how i'm starting my amazon fba journey or i'm thinking of starting my amazon fba journey but i'm i don't have any money saved um or i am trying to save some money so can you give me some tips about how to quickly save enough to have my first investment so i i thought about a few things that i put into place and when i was thinking about amazon fba and i decided to quickly um save some money and to kind of speed up the process because i know it can be frustrating when you're you know roaring to go but you just don't have the money to do it so let me uh tell you what i came up with okay so um right so the first thing you need to um determine obviously is how much money do you need for your amazon fba especially if this is your first time so there's a few things i already have a video about startup costs which i'm um a lovely lady asked me to do a follow-up video which i will do one of the next few videos will be that so basically you need a uk limited company amazon monthly fee business bank account gs1 barcode logo sales estimator that's the first step to kind of like get everything going that will take you about a month or two to actually find the product and have have all the admin logistics set up um and then obviously there's phase two and that's when you chose your products you you asked for samples you get the samples you decide on the products you order you place your order for the first inventory then you have photography costs then you have the ad costs things like that so in my estimation obviously there's a huge caveat depending on the product cost if you if you as a first product if you have money to burn if you have money to spend and you go with a product that is uh that has a higher price point obviously your investment is going to be greater but i'm you know from the emails that i receive and from what i've i've seen on amazon fba most people start really conservatively so my estimate is approximately two thousand pounds uh maybe you can get away with a thousand five you know for your first amazon fba attempt okay so this is how much money we're gonna you know you you have in your mind this is how much money i need to set aside to get going okay so now let's get into the video i have five tips for you which will get you money saved really quickly number one and some of these might be a little bit controversial so i do apologize for that but you know i'm all about honesty and you know i'll just tell i'll just say it like it is number one cut all tv services cables streaming services i'm sure you've heard this before you don't need i mean if you really are serious about saving money you don't need amazon prime you don't need netflix you don't need hulu you don't need all of those things you don't need sky tv you don't need all of it there's plenty of free stuff on the internet when i started out and i had to save money i cut everything absolutely everything now a few examples you can watch youtube you can watch dailymotion on youtube you have you have full-length movies you have tv series you follow people you follow vlogs you can subscribe to channels it's like it's become the new tv other options are igtv i mean obviously we all know that instagram has become huge and not only you can follow people and they upload stories all the time so it's it you know it does take up a chunk of your day but now they have igtv and you have longer videos so you can you can watch series you know you follow of your favorite instagram as you know um they put up you know makeup series and you know diy series so instead of sitting down and watching a movie on netflix at the end of the day or on the weekend follow some of your favorite instagrammers and you know watch a full length or a couple of full-length igtv stories it's the same thing but it's free another one that i did is right before i canceled all of my subscriptions and streaming services i downloaded all of my favorite movies to usb keys and an external hard drive i have about 200 of my favorite movies ready to go at any time now grant you not everyone will love to watch movies over and over again i do i i like it i i have my favorite tv series i have my favorite movies from you know the 1980s to recent movies and i do like to go back and rewatch things so it works for me and i'm sure that it could work for a lot of you you could you have your own you know cinematic at home and uh also and don't forget i know you you can't really see it because i'm in front but regular tv also works i know a lot of people are you know they think that if they don't have netflix or amazon prime they're not actually watching anything relevant but you know bbc one bbc two bbc three itv things like that there i mean you do pay a license a tv license uh per year but you have to pay that anyway if you have if you have the internet so you might as well just watch the free free channels so there you go these are some of your uh that's the number one if you cut all your streaming services you save quite a bit of money at the end of the month so that's number one next number two now this is an idea i had a couple of years ago and i started using this when i when i have those months that i really need i really want to cut down on expenses now my water bill is extremely high i live in a place where it's very high and it's it's about you know i pay something like 130 pounds every three months or something like that it's incredibly high so what i decided to do one day i said it's okay i'm gonna take one water bottle now the water bottle could be one liter one and a half liter two liters you determine you fill it up in at the you know in the morning and you use that water for anything that you need water during the day now obviously there are a few exceptions which i will mention later but you use that water that is in that bottle that you filled up in the morning for cooking anything that need requires cooking like pasta house cleaning and brushing your teeth you have to have to be really intentional in how much water you use because you waste so much water when you brush your teeth the way you clean the house and things like that another thing washing off your makeup at the end of the day do you know how much water you just like you know you you just we're wasting so much water it's really not good for the planet as well then washing dishes by hand i know uh many people have a dishwasher but people who don't please make sure that you wash your dishes with the water that you they filled up in the morning and all important coffee machine how many of us have a nespresso how many of us have a kettle you know for um you know tea making tea you we throw every time you know we fill up you know um just to make one cup of tea we fill up the whole kettle why why do you do that you're wasting water just fill up enough just for your cup of tea and and take it from the bottle that you uh that one bottle that you filled up in the morning obviously you know let me be clear about something let me move myself out of the way drinking water and showering are not included in this obviously for obvious reasons you need to stay hydrated and you need to be clean so please please please stay hydrated and clean thank you but you would be surprised if you use this method how much you could shave off your water bill at the end of the month next okay the next one is a little bit controversial i think it's the most controversial so here we go um i know that this you're probably in shock and you're probably thinking oh my god this this you are such a disgusting person but it does really work do you know how much water we use when we flush the toilet um a lot a lot of water so basically what you could do is you flush every other time now i'm not going to go into you know into this very much i think you'll just you get the picture right i really went there i know it's a little bit it's probably controversial but it works it really does work so if you especially now that we're working from home obviously if you go if you go out in the morning and you go to work don't leave your toilet unflushed because when you come back it'll be disgusting but now that we work from home a lot of us flush every other time it makes a lot of difference trust me i've tried it and it does make a difference okay let's move swiftly along number four unplug all your devices and appliances before going to bed now i know a lot of people you know most people say oh make sure you don't leave anything on charge make sure your phone is switched off but i go even further microwave tv screens printers scanners electric toothbrush coffee machines and don't forget the christmas lights we use so much electricity when during the christmas months you know it's just it's wasted wasted wasted energy and we're paying so much more you know electricity so obviously you can't unplug everything you're not going to unplug your dishwasher or your fridge every night although some people do but if you already unplug all of these appliances that you have in your kitchen you will see a big difference at the end of the month trust me i've tried it and it works next number five so that's the we reached the last one it's another one that is a little bit controversial but i've been doing this for years and i kind of you know i'm used to it by now and it's kind of like a way of life so you know when you take a shower obviously you have your shampoo and then you have your body wash well why do you need to buy two things if you're really trying to save money and you want to you know save on certain things when you wash your hair and then as the you know the shampoo kind of like you know covers your body and is being washed away you wash your body so there's no need to buy two products you just buy one product and i know it seems ridiculous but it does work and you just have to be really quick you wash your hair and then you wash your body all at the same time it's just it works perfectly fine and your body is super clean so the goal with this this kind of like goes back you know um to the other tip about you know the flushing okay so between that and this one you'll be able to save 10 15 pounds per water bill which makes a big difference at the end of the year so i hope you liked this video it was really quick and simple but i got two emails from two lovely lovely subscribers asking me how i can save what are you know some tips that are unusual that not any not many people are giving out to save a lot of money other than just like picking up extra jobs and um you know working extra hours at your work or uh don't not going out to eat even though we can't go out to eat anyway right now because of covid so these are just extra extreme saving tips i mean not many people will want to do this but the people who are really serious and say okay maybe for a month or two i'm just gonna go full you know extreme saving mode well you can try some of these tips they work for me in the past and you know i hope they can work for you too i mean i'm sure they work it's just you know being committed and being intentional and being you know committed to um you know i'm gonna the next three months will be my saving up for amazon fba so at the end of these three months
