when you send an automated email from get feedback you'll have access to advanced tracking and analytics avoid sales for some limits and easily schedule reminder emails in this video we will walk through setting up an automated email and get feedback using Salesforce first connect your survey to Salesforce navigate to the Edit mappings or Salesforce tab at the top of your screen to connect the survey to your Salesforce instance then navigate to the distribution tab choose email then select automate and get feedback using Salesforce from the drop-down choose the call to action for your survey invitation we recommend embedding a survey question choose an email subject line and complete your email details when you're selecting what email to send from get feedback will provide you with the default email address if you'd like to set up your own custom domain please reach out to our support team select which Salesforce object will trigger your outbound message you'll want this to be the same object that your workflow is based on in Salesforce if you're not sure yet please pause this video go create your workflow in Salesforce and come back to finish setting up your outbound message in the feedback and select the field from Salesforce that we'll use to pull your customers email address and any merge fields that should be included in your survey URL or email template including any information you'd like to track about your survey takers such as contact ID name or email next we'll personalize the body of the email based on the merge fields that we've already setup save initial email settings at the bottom of the screen then scroll up and click the view your message in Salesforce now that we're in Salesforce you'll select your workflow that you've already set up which will trigger your automated email from the workflow choose existing action and add your outbound message to the action press save [Music] now we're going to test I've created a case closed workflow so let's close a customer case and see if we can trigger this email we're closing Amelia's customer case and here we've got the automated email for Amelia from get feedback powered by Salesforce and that's how easy it is to automate your emails and get feedback using Salesforce
