well friends this is you Sofia welcome to another coding challenge video okay so this video we're gonna do some software coding windows of coding basically okay so before I tell you the challenge let me really show the output that's what we normally do so I'm going here basically I have here one display file known RPG early okay so I'm just going to call this program and what you see is actually two different windows of file on the same scheme okay so the idea behind this actually kind of okay sometimes we need to select a country and then from that country we should be displaying some cities belongs to that country and we may need to select multiple cities from that okay so assume that is a scenario but we're trying to mock up here now this is a front first screen okay so I can either use my arrow keys for go up go down then I can use the mouse to see one by one okay we can also use page up or page down okay and then I can use spacebar to select the country so this is the radio button so we can select one be one at a time okay so say for example I'm selecting country to okay when I press ENTER it will go to the next sub file here we can select multiple cities okay and then finally when I click enter in this train we should be able to tell water all the cities we selected so in this case one two and four so if you see one two and four so this is what we are trying to do so it is actually a very simple code just to give the idea of how this is happening okay but you can very well build our own custom logic on top of it okay so this is the sevens so if you know already how to shuffle single choice keyword here so which means it knows that in this thing we have one single choice selection thing okay that we have we are letting it with here okay similarly if you see the second sub file the same keyword is there but you can see here is SFL multi choice so that's why it behaves as multi selection okay so let's first concentrate on the first portion so what we special we have these things we already know which this is a normal suffering potion we have display display control and then clear and then I shuffle end okay we are using the same indicator for everything the pretty much same for the second sub fail we're clearing stuff loading stuff here we we tell this as a city because the variable in my CD okay then this portion is also done now we have both the sub fills are loaded and return but not displayed okay before displaying what we are doing like we are writing the header writing the footer and writing this second sub file okay all the things are already overlaid so if you come here and then check for the overlay you can see every record is set as overlay so that we will be seeing everything at once okay and what we are doing so we're just writing everything and then finally we're did me x FM be on the first subway so now what this will do let me show you here okay first it will write this data and then this data okay and then we'll write this will this will write this then will be x FM b this only put these particular things okay so in this situation only this first sub file is readable so you can go here you can cannot do anything here basically okay only this is currently visible so now I can make selection whatever I want I'm gonna see when it was enter here you can see up to the CX FMD I'm actually displaying the second sub file so if you enter it goes to the second screen basically okay and in here I can do multiple selection whatever you want okay now assume I have already selected if we press enter the control will come down okay so here what we are doing we are just again doing a for loop between one to the number of record of the second sub file and then we are changing the RN with the data portion of the second subway and for each record this CV left Philly Phil will be available and the DC definitely Phil is nothing but the one which we have given here as here is a shuffle choice control field okay so that will be normally 0 if selection is made it will be 1 okay so if at all that field is 1 then we are just displaying the city okay that's it so is the whole idea hope you've got the background of it how do we do that okay and then few things let me clarify okay there are a few new keywords something like this one okay user restore display okay so the user this tour display is actually used for displaying more than one sub file okay let's see what happens if suppose I come on this portion okay let's go here I'm going to the display file and then here is the user display thing let me come on this out and then come down and then here also there is a user display so I'm going to come at this so now I compile this and then this now you can see there is a delay between those two sub friends okay and then after if I made selection of here then that disappears okay so to avoid this we need to give this keyword user restore display which means the display will be controlled by the user okay and also when when it's displaying something right as some it's displaying this particular seconds of fail when we after we do selection and when we give the enter it definition so if you're running this program in your Windows PC maybe I could work I don't know why it's not working Mac okay but it works so you can press double pick to select the particular thing in the software selection control okay so that's pretty much I want to cover so we have just learned something like single choice single file single selection and software multi selection so that is
