still i don't know why i'm always putting up a fight [Music] when i'm so downtime if i can't get it to heaven i'd best be [Music] so you may be wondering comfort why are you taking yourself on a date and the answer is because i want to be the main character just kidding but the actual reason is because we need to prioritize alone time with ourselves and normalize hanging out with ourselves especially with this whole like quarantine thing it can get kind of isolating and so you just want to like go out and like do things with yourself and like unwind and just think about life it's good self-care for everyone and i think everyone should do this but yeah i'm just getting ready and i have some things planned that i want to do so hopefully we can do everything and i'm just gonna have a good time with myself so i did a little makeup and now i'm gonna pick an outfit that is like cute picnic vibes maybe i'll take some pictures okay so here's what i have so i'm gonna wear this shirt i got from urban outfitters it's like a cute little like long sleeve it's kind of hot but i'm going to survive then i have this hair scarf which i feel like it's perfect for like the vibes i keep saying vibes pigment pipes then i have this perfect like bag that's like exactly picnic vibes these pants are from deep pop and i'm wearing my converse all stars black you can't even see it there it is actually really cute i just have a big head so you know and i feel naked without a necklace but mine broke the one i always wear so i think i'm gonna go to target to get a new one so i think my first stop is gonna be target because i need to get some things i wanna have a little picnic and like read and eat so i think i'm gonna order sushi because i literally haven't had sushi in so long and it's like one of my favorite foods and you know i'm treating myself today so it's really no excuse and yeah i'm kind of excited i've never like done anything by myself like a picnic or like eating out by myself so this will be interesting and fun and fresh also i just watched hamilton like a week ago and tell me why i'm literally playing the soundtrack in the car that's how much it slaps specifically this song it's literally the best story to fight me on it [Music] okay i finished from target and i only got two things i got this cute gold necklace because like i said mine broke and i feel naked without a necklace and i just got some kombucha to eat my sushi and i never had this brand before so we'll see if it's good i was gonna get like a fabric mask because i don't like using these but they didn't have any so that's kind of disappointing um can i get an order in an alaska roll okay and an order of dumplings or chicken uh chicken okay so i secured my sushi and now i'm actually really hungry so i'm gonna go find a picnic spot [Music] okay so i'm back in the car because um there were so many bugs and it was windy all my stuff was blowing away but i was out there for 30 minutes like reading and eating and it was kind of chill i'm gonna eat the rest in my car because there's no bugs and it's not windy also this kombucha is like spicy um that's kind of good so okay i'm back from my picnic and let me share my overall consensus okay first off i think literally everyone should do this it's not even just about being the main character because i feel like everyone is their own main character of their own life but i feel like it's just a form of self-care and i'm about to move to my college apartment in like a few days and i feel like it's just a good time to unwind before i like move and start school and everything even if you've already started school i feel like you should take yourself on a date because you need to reflect on you know this past like six months in 2020 because it's just been it's been wild yeah a few days ago i was just sitting and i was like i need to like go out by myself and like take myself on a date and just be the main character for a day even though it kind of am already it's just funny how there was like a whole month on tick tock where like the biggest trend was being the main character i even made a tick talk about like certain tick tockers being main characters and it like blew up it got pretty much viral and everyone was like controversial about it because they're like oh my gosh what if i'm not the main character but like literally everyone's the main character so what's going on here first of all the sushi was bomb it was so good this kombucha is also great i still haven't finished it um it's kind of spicy but yeah i'm going to be doing an apartment tour when i move into my college apartment and i'm going into my second year of college so i mean it's all online i said i was going to take pictures at the picnic but the only picture i took was this picture i posted it on my instagram story there's just too many bugs and too much wind for like me to take pictures of myself i don't know like handheld tripods actual trash did not work so i barely could even take videos of myself i had to like switch to my phone at one point you know overall good time um vibes 10 out of 10. um i felt like i was in a coming of age movie specifically a24 as a film student i feel like that kind of just hits different you know what i mean also my new necklace is cute um but anyways i need every single one of you to do this and treat yourself even if you're not going on an actual date or picnic literally just treat yourself buy yourself your favorite food or drink um read your favorite book uh blast for your music i had a great time and i would do this definitely again i'm going to do this again when it's like not as hot outside and like not as many bugs so yeah look out for a college apartment tour and move-in vlog because that's going to be going up pretty much probably next after this video but yeah i will see in my next video goodbye
