[Music] hey everyone is Dave here again I'm just back with another handy tip around the Notes app this time I'm going to show you how to create your own digital signature using the Notes app just click on the Notes app and you may have for example a really important contract that you need signed or a digital copy of something and you need to assign it so let's have a look how you might go about doing that if you have the the contract or the document as a PDF you can see down the bottom here I've got space for it for me to add a signature I can click up here on the mark up tool here now what we see is a plus symbol so when you click on that plus you get a couple options around text signature or magnifier and I'm just add the signature for example and you can see I've already got one that I've used before so I'm just gonna hit add and show you what you do to add a new one just press Plus here you've got a signature box you then use your Apple pencil or your finger and do your signature you can do it as many times and get the perfect signature that you approve I suppose and when you're happy with that press done it then adds it as a image to your document I can also then go to plus and go to signature and then choose between the two signatures that I have so for example if I want that one I can just click on that one and then click and drag to whatever size I need it to be and so on so that's a great way of adding your own signature to a really important contract or document what makes it even more impressive is if you're using your iCloud account with the Notes app the signature can sync across to your your phone so let's have a look what you need to do is just open up that really important contract that we were looking at before click on the PDF go to the markup feature click on the plus and go to signature and now here you have the digital signature that we added before I can then just click on that come down the bottom here resize it to the size I need hit done and then I can export that then email it to whoever I need to so that's a really cool way and quick way of having a digital signature on any device that you're that you own using your iCloud and the Notes app to sync that's a digital signature across all your devices
