hi all I wanted to share with you a little trick that I discovered in Microsoft Outlook it's an awesome little trick for saving your emails outside of Outlook I do a lot in Outlook I save a lot of emails I do a lot of genealogy and save a lot of genealogy emails I have an online business and I get emails whenever I have sales and I want to save all of those I don't want to get rid of them but then my outlook PST file gets to be really large now back years ago this used to be a problem I'm talking 2003 they used to have like a max on how big your PST file would kit and I actually had problems and had to clear out emails way back then but now the files can get much larger but the problem is you have to back up those files and so one huge one huge file as opposed to a bunch of smaller ones broken up into folders is much harder to save so it's better if you can to trim it down and so you can see here what I've begun doing is I have my sales for 2007 2008 2009 all in one folder and then I deleted them out of my Outlook and then I can just take these and permanently back them up somewhere and they don't have to be on my laptop they can be on a couple eh DS always have things in at least two places that way if I ever get audited down the road I'm going to have that information available so eventually someday I'll delete it just like you can delete your other tax records after so many years I think it's seven but I want to save those just case I ever run into problems so the same thing for the genealogy emails I may want to save those and get them out of my Outlook folders there is a very fast and easy way well if you say fast but that depends on how many emails you have but a very fast and easy it is easy I promise way to save the emails and get them out of here so I have a folder here just called for tutorial just for this lesson and what I'm going to do is I have a folder here called for tutorial and I'm in the middle of it I just sent myself a bunch of test emails so I can record this email the so that I could record this video yes I am sick My Mind's not working I have a little scratchy throat bear with me so I'm going to press ctrl a and it's going to select every single email in this folder section so if you have a thousand emails in here it's going to select all 1000 of them ctrl a all a for all ctrl a all and...
