back it's a good thing right right so yeah she will be asking me questions about what she questions she has about cryptocurrency and i'll be answering them and we can also talk about other things and learn i learned more about myself actually i think that i need to believe in myself as much as other people believe in me okay yeah that's good um sure so we can yeah now let's talk about crypto um what is it that you want to know oh you don't understand about cryptocurrency how has been your your crypto journey okay so my crypto journey is fairly new which is why when you ask me about whether to scam like i'm new to this honestly i see people making money and that is like okay that is my aim but um yeah so i things that i don't understand because i was on the stock market for a little bit and you know like on stocks they tell you buy in the dirt so i know in august that bitcoin took a bit to competitive debt and then i was like okay so i think this would be a good time to invest would you agree on that yeah but the i think fundamentally the very first thing that you want to do is to understand what bitcoin is i think i mean you went into it more as a trader yeah right but that's perfectly fine but you also want to still understand the fundamentals of what bitcoin is what makes it work and all that kind of stuff so by the way um two best comments will win access to crypto what is bitcoin to you it's money on the internet i know the internet okay and what so it's the monetary aspect that that got you interested right i like honestly um i like to be honest i want to get more females invested in legit okay invested great words um sorry for the fans but i'm going to get more females involved in in cryptocurrency because you know in some parts of the world they're still females who get paid about 70 to 80 of what males get paid and cryptocurrency like there's none of that there's none of that you can get paid just as much because you know you're making just as much as anyone else right depending on how much you put in of course right right so i mean it's an it's an investment that is from an investment point of view what she's trying to say is that you know this is a market where it doesn't really care much about who you are but also because actually somebody put in the comment on the last crypto dates that because in crypto we identify with what it addresses right if you're doing something whether it's defy or whatever method you're using to invest nobody knows whether you're a man or a woman in crypto right because it's a public address that shows right you know so that's actually a good point that you raise that you know it brings the real equality that the world is looking for right now so um what what what else did you i mean saying that you're buying low sale higher that is true about any market right you want to buy something at a lower price and sell at a high so which month did you try to get in you try to buy low um so august because on the 2nd of august on my birthday bitcoin had a bit of a dip yeah yeah oh now he does recover already yes exactly that was a good trade because now it's almost like 11 000. yeah you have made some money right that's 11. that's a very good start thanks so are you is your golden traded or okay so honestly for me what's important is where i see myself in the next couple of years okay you see yourself in crypto that's good right so where i see myself in the next couple of years and so for me it's a spot where i can keep my money safe and where there's no way my bank doesn't like have access to it right because you know like as much as i have a savings account every month there's something being taken off from yes yeah that's true actually and i've never even i've never even talked about that even before that you know if you're keeping your crypto in your wallet there's nobody taking away from it every month charging your bank fees you know that's actually true um yeah that's very i think you have a whole different perspective about why crypto is cool and um you know for for a lot of us in crypto who are already in crypto like we have um sort of fundamentals of what white crypt is very important to us i want to ask to you what did you say to someone who has never who is skeptical about cryptocurrency do you think that they don't understand that they don't understand it and it's so complicated or they struggle to understand the value proposition of it what would you say it is i would say empower yourself first so like you do um i'm currently working with people called finance and they host these webinars where you can learn more about crypto and so i would say empower yourself by attaining these webinars or empower yourself by commenting down below and you could win access to the university or you can actually just join crypto university if you want to learn that is yeah the link is in the description yeah okay cool and then that's how you'll learn because i mean the truth is when you keep learning like you're empowering yourself you're expanding your horizons yeah and um yeah but the question was why what if you had to sell crypt to someone say hey get into is interesting what would be the value proposition that you think would get them interested the value proposition i would say um make that money honey that's what i would say and yeah i would say the world is moving in a different direction you know and we can either stay left behind right or we can go where the world is going we can go with it so i would say if you truly want if you truly see yourself in the future see like those goals that you have those investment goals those financial goals that you have for yourself in the future i would say definitely try and make the most of it i mean now with with corona time it's affected many people in very different ways yeah however with crypto you can still make money absolutely you actually can make more money during a crisis because you know everything is online everything is still working banks are not crypto banks they don't close there's no such thing as bitcoin is closed you know there's no such thing as sonic times and wear a mask before you shut your bitcoin um um so there's a lot like what are other ways that you can that you can like i said i use mine i use my wallet because i know okay there's money in there no one can touch it it's safe um and then what other ways are they of like making money besides p2p and then buying it so okay so the cool thing about about this is that you are admitting that you want to make money for sure so that makes the two of us because a lot of people out there they don't like to admit that they want to make money or they're they're following the money they'll rather uh money is the rule of all evil yet they go to work every day to work for it it's like it's crazy you know i agree with that um there's a lot of people who are let's say my age your age who aren't speaking about it enough and it's honestly something that we should speak more openly about because it affects us all yeah that's true actually yeah um so ways to make money in crypto so many ways uh it depends you know there is pretty much a method for everyone you know depending on how comfortable you are you can either work in crypto if you work for someone who is already to crypto or the crypto companies you get paid in crypto like for the last five years that's what i've been doing and i barely earn any uh fiat currency okay right or you can start to accept crypto in your business so if you have a coffee shop or you have whatever you have any business even especially if you have a business online you can actually start accepting crypto in your business i i can show you how to do this it's very easy and if you are another thing is also to invest that's how you make money in crypto you can invest in the cryptocurrencies like bitcoin which over time the prices go up and in my belief i think bitcoin soon will hit a hundred thousand dollars and there's no financial advice by the way but when i got into crypto you know bitcoin was about maybe six hundred dollars at the time and three to six hundred dollars and it seemed crazy i was like this is too late you know i can't i don't think it can go beyond this level right and then it hit a thousand dollars i was like what the hell maybe this is now time to sell because uh i don't think it can ever i think it will crash this is never going to happen again and then it went to 3 000 and then 5 000 and 9 000 13 20 000 in no time you know so if you think about it for bitcoin to hit 100k it means that you only have to go up 10 times from now that's nothing in crypto 10x right and uh one of the biggest um companies out there investment companies they just invested 400 million dollars this is a publicly traded company in the us they have now microstrategy if you know about it they have just now invested 400 million dollars cash in bitcoin so to me it's saying the sentiment that yo this thing is not going anywhere and if you want to be part of that future you need to get to have some bitcoin so yeah you can work for people in bitcoin you can trade um the charts i'm sure when people think about trading they always think about the charts so you can trade what we call price action or there's also derivatives which you can trade futures uh you can start an otc desk meaning that you trade you you sell bitcoin to people directly on your own right because bitcoin is much more like having a cup of coffee like this it's a real asset you can either cut it down into two small pieces yeah you know you can use you can plant a flower in there if you want a sort of a tree uh you can use it to draw water so that's what makes it different from uh say the heated currents like the around or the dollar so that's that you know that's how you can make money with it there's just so many ways to do it yeah from the trading aspect you could also make money in d5 right now december last finance where if you have bitcoin i can put it in a platform where that platform allows other people to borrow money okay you know like a bank it could go back there's this thing called decentralized finance i take my bitcoins i put it into or whatever currency you can even do it with stable coins right stable coins do you know what stable coins are no okay what is stable coins stable coins are like a cryptocurrency that is pegged to the st to their fiat currency so like say to the us dollar it means that one stable coin is equal to one dollar so if you have say usdc i was gonna say so you are you now have usd coin meaning one usd coin is equal to one dollar it does not go up and down it's stable right so if i take my usd coin i put on a d5 platform there you will be able to now um earn interest right now interest is ranging from eight to twelve percent which is more than bad there you go i think you're going to make a lot of money because you get up you know you you get these things quite quickly already so that's you know there's so many ways man all you need to do is to just learn about it yeah you know if you know what to do and i think what scares people is that uh but when you speak about bitcoin you speak about these large amounts of number but like with um the platform that i'm using which is finance you get to buy like part of bitcoin yeah yeah bitcoin is highly divisible meaning that you can buy portions of it yes and it's on every exchange wherever you buy it from you don't have to buy one bitcoin because today one bitcoin is 190 000 rand or 10 000 or so 11 000 almost now for you you can buy 50 worth of bitcoin or you can do dollar cost averaging i've made a video on this channel about that where you buy link yeah i'll link it in the description um you can actually choose to say like when i started buying i was buying um i used to do dollar cost averaging so i used to take 20 of my salary buy cryptocurrency every month you you seem crazy at the beginning but now it paid off so what do you use the 50 20 30 year old sorry with your salary how do you divide that 50 20 30. no it used to be 20 into crypto oh yeah it was very small money at the time but now you know it's it's good so that's also one way to do it on the last episode i spoke to karabu she talked about saving money i don't save money do you save money serving that yeah yeah yeah i save money i use the 50 20 30 rule which is what i was asking you about okay how does that work so 20 goes to your savings and 30 well 20 or 30 you can choose 30 goes to spending whatever you need and then 50 goes to your expenses so for things like your car or your rent or whatever else you need to pay for yeah interesting yeah because obviously we're all getting older and you can't trade crypto till you're 80. you're good or you could actually yeah i don't i don't save i don't believe in saving personally i just don't save at all it's like i i prefer income generation so i rather have cash flow so if i make money i'll rather put it into a place where it generates so rather just have multiple income streams than saving money on the company because i mean how long would it take you to run over to run up your savings well to be honest you can save up to fifty thousand for a year for you yes up to fifty thousand yeah okay so fifty thousand how long will it take you to blow fifty thousand two minutes there you go right so i believe in having multiple flows of income instead of saving because i don't think saving is safe okay how how much during this crisis how many people do you think could survive with their savings well to be honest because on the second month already people could not afford to pay rent right you know i know what you mean definitely you make a good point but i think also that's why we set up emergency funds and i speak about that on i speak about that making yourself money what do you agree with that well no i think you could no it would happen follow the money not your passion yeah wow that's that's beautiful that you can do i've worked i've worked i followed the passion before yeah and in here in here it crashed me i was so broke when i followed the the passion thing i mean you're speaking to an actor i know what you're doing and most people who follow the passion they just really you know they end up being broke you know it's just like it happened to me i'm an artist too you know i used to do computer graphics yeah i worked in the movies and all that kind of stuff that's the stuff i wanted to do since i was young yeah but my financial situation was just so terrible i was scared of rent money every month or where is it gonna come from because money makes people anxious you know it's like it's it was a month to month living it's like you get paid now and you pay your bills and you're just counting for the days again to get the next check that wasn't a good life so then i was like yo i have to kill this passion thing because otherwise it's going to kill me so i killed it from there for me to follow the money the whole follow the passion thing is for the rich people that's what i believe well you're almost there far from it but at least i'm not i'm not scrambling for rent money anymore i'm not worried about rent or what i'm not going to eat you know or so when you do feel that you're rich where you go back to your passion yeah when you're rich you can do whatever you want you know look at look at this rich guys the beauty they're not starting building rockets and they were thinking when they were young you know that's when your child you want to build rockets right but then you can't do that like you say also like i wouldn't be building someone else's employee because that's what a business or company is me you're building something that when you you break your leg at work you're not gonna own whatever company that you were working on do you agree with that yeah very agree with that but yeah me i don't know i work from the vlog day so how many movies have you worked for or how many projects okay so i've worked on a couple of ads i've worked background on like a huge movie fit like you're doing that in america yeah yeah so that was really fun and i think for me like you just know when something makes you feel alive yes and that's something that nothing else will give you that feeling like as much as as much as money makes you happy i don't think it'll give you that feeling so the thing is if you make the money you can fund your passion exactly that's how i looked at it exactly i just i used to like rap back then back in the day i didn't know i should become a rapper then i i realized at least very quickly because that you know this whole rapper thing it was just not real okay i would end up being broke you know be a striving artist right so i tried to make some money i made a little bit of money now i made an album on my own terms i on the rights i don't even care if it sells or not i just created it so i'm not that's for me it was like you make the money you find
