deaf um the stuff that's in Canada um asked a question about organizing photos for clients and I'm so happy stuff that you asked this question because I do have an answer about this she asked if I have ever offered photo organizing or digitizing physical photos into digital photos on the computer and yes I have and specifically you asked about doing slides so approximately probably seven years ago this was years before I ever started thinking about working I think as a business my grandfather who was like 92 at the time gave me a project or offered me a project he said I have had boxes and boxes of my 35 millimeter slides that I want to be able to put on the computer and share with other people and now he was not really a technology kind of user or he didn't know too much about how all this works but he basically said I'll buy you the scanner and if you're willing to start putting the slides on the computer you know the scanners all yours like if you know am i working on this project so I got really excited about that because I got a free scanner and so I started doing his lot of doing the 35 millimeter slides which which winning four at a time and this project went on for years because I was going really slowly just kind of doing it at my own pace stuff really interesting because I know you're pregnant right now but I had a new baby at the time and so this was something I was just kind of doing in my spare time and he wasn't paying me but then after a couple of years he found more boxes and he said hey do you want it will you keep scanning slides and I was like oh my gosh this project will never end but then he ended up paying me he kind of said will you estimate how much how much time that this will take you and you know just kind of multiply that by $20 an hour or whatever and you know he ended up paying me three thousand dollars for the rest of projects they all said and done I scanned in ten thousand thirty five millimeter slides into the computer so I am very intimately aware of how intensive of a project that is but also so fulfilling because I actually transcribed all of the little captions that he had and I gotta find of course it was very special to me because this was my grandfather in my family history but I was able to learn a lot about his travels he was a missionary I saw all kinds of pictures of my dad and his family that I had never seen before so that was really interesting and it was very special to him because by the time I got done I did it kind of...
