[Music] act companion is a robust mobile application that lets you view and manage records for your contacts companies opportunities and more in this video I want to show you how to manage your language and notification settings and then change the navigation buttons and the initial view that you see when you log in to access all of these settings let's open up the menu enact companion and then we'll scroll all the way down to the Settings button the first thing I want to look at our language settings this screen lets you change your default language between English German and French make sure you tap save after you've chosen the language next let's look at our notification settings it's important to note that all of these notifications can be overridden by your phone's settings you might need to go into your phones and notification settings and enable these on a global level once you've done that you can then enable or disable individual notification settings for upcoming activities created contacts and new opportunities again click Save when you're finished next let's look at user configuration settings there are two different settings on this screen first the navigation menu order lets you choose the buttons that you see at the bottom of the screen to choose the buttons that you will see tap the star button to the right you can only display a maximum of four buttons at any time so let's say I wanted to see my activities contacts hot leads and opportunities to change the order in which these buttons appear on the menu tap the lock button to unlock it and then tap and drag any of these items to reorder them anywhere on this list button once again to lock those into place and tap the Save button to save your selections menu should reflect the order that you chose the last setting I want to change in this view is the initial view that I see when I log in to act companion so we're going to tap the initial view button and we're going to change that from contacts to act insight and now I'll tap save now I'm going to log out of act companion and then I'm going to exit out of act companion completely and relaunch it now when I log in we should see at initial view is act insight there's one more setting that I want to show you and that is calendar integration you enable this setting all of the activities that you create will automatically be added to your native phone calendar this is pretty easy to enable just turn the toggle switch on and tap save now whenever you create any new activities your phone's calendar will display them there [Music] [Music]
