okay so we just had set up the Mac to scan to folder this video is a little bit of troubleshooting so if you have issues when you set up your scan to folder on your Mac and it still is not working there's a couple things you need to check in the machine now if everybody else in your office can scan okay you don't want to do this you'll want to contact the vendor your your IT provider to dig a little deeper in troubleshooting but if nobody can scan or if you're the only person and you're still not able to scan you're getting something some sort of message at the copier that still needed due to error log in air or something of that sort there's a couple of things a couple settings we need to check in the machine to make sure that it is set correctly so if you go to a web browser and you enter the IP address of the copier so what you're going to want to is going to the administrator mode we're going to use the Konica Minolta default admin mode password which is one through eight two times if this does not work you'll want to contact your administrator to see if they've change that a lot of cases folks do change the default admin password on their machine so in the administrator mode what we want to do is go into the network settings and you want to go through SMB setting you want to go to client setting and by default I have seen this be set on a ntlm version one only you need to really make sure that it is either on NT ml version 1 / version 2 or Kerberos /nt ml version 1 version 2 okay we go to SMB server setting go ahead and make sure if you're having issues you can try turning this on you want to make sure the SMB version 1 version 2 version 3 is listed here I don't know why turning this on sometimes fixes the problem but it does this is actually using the copier itself as an SMB connection but it has it has altered things if you set this to on this - on and this - on that at least give you a vehicle of communicating with the machine via SMB if you have any further issues you still can't get it reach out to your service vendor and see if they can help you out or you can shoot us an email and we can see if we can't help you out thank you Oh make sure when you're done here in your admin mode log out it will automatically time out after 30 seconds but you want to just be in the habit of logging out ok thank you
