hey guys life here from i-tech office technology today I'd like to show you how you can change the default subject when you send emails or scan to email on the Konica Minolta bit so if you have a look at the display here we're gonna go into scan effects button and whatever you see on the screen here is what set as default so to change the subject for emails we're going to go into this one here called filename subject 9 and you can see the subject is in there and the default subject as you can see here it says message from kmb Tec 7 5 4 so that KN bTW that's actually the device name in this case and just to make it look a bit nicer and a bit meaningful more meaningful we're gonna change the subject so before I go in here I can just make that you know whatever whatever I like so I'm gonna just delete the end bit I'm gonna keep the message from like it is there but I'm gonna put in my my company name I'm just gonna say message from i-tech but you can put in whatever you like there and hit OK so what I've done now I've changed the subject just for one for a one-off an email but I'm never gonna make this a permanent new default so I've made my changes on the screen here you can make other changes if you wanted to change other default settings then without hitting the reset button just leave the settings as they are we're gonna go into the main menu button or the home button we're going to go into utility we're going to go into number two user settings and number four scan fax settings and you can see one here this option says default scan fax setting and I'm going to click on that one and you can see that it's either factory default or current setting when we say current setting on here we're referring to the current setting on the scan panel behind here so when I hit okay here just hit the okay button and leave it as highlighted on current setting it okay on there and just close all the way out now when I hit the reset button on here it's not going to go back to the the previous default so if I go in here now you can see that even if I hit the reset button on here I've got my new subject message site in there permanently and this goes for any of the default settings whatever you like to change so that's it that's how we change the default subject name
