all right guys chrysler here with omp digital designer again i wanted to go through and talk to you guys one more time about 3d scanning and repeatability with the comb combscan versus the einscan so i'm going to show you how to download first the software to view and follow along with these files that i'm going to also share in a link below and a google drive there you can download the paper reports the 2d pdfs as well as the 3d inspection reports that we're going to be flying through today the reason why i wanted to share this with you is because there is no real solution today on the market in omp for holding scans to account or comparing residual to modified scans or comparing einstein to chrome scan and all you have to rely on is the advertised plus or minus standard deviation um but at the end of the day you need real true hard numbers in order to back that up and these uh reports are going to give you just that and uh you know as a forewarning it's not what you would expect so excited to share this with you guys let's jump right in and let's start off by going over to um the internet and looking up creaform3d.com or just vx elements viewer you type that in you're going to get a prompt to download the software after signing up to their their company website and uh it's a quick and easy install and that's all you got to do to download this so this link is in the description let's go over to the desktop here and launch the x elements viewer so uh the excellence viewer is a simple uh viewing file a software that allows you to view scanning reports generated from their vx inspect software so let's look at the ak scanning test of chrome scan to start off with so these files again are going to be available to you in uh the google drive to follow along so right out of the gate this looks kind of weird it's a weird looking software so that's why i wanted to walk through all of this with you right now so left mouse click to rotate around middle mouse click to pan and scroll to zoom and what we have on screen here are a reference and a part so there's eight different parts in this report each one you can expand in the tree here to see what's inside the part container so we have four scans done with a jig and a comb scan iphone and then we have four scans done with a no jig and just freehand so there's eight parts in total and we're going to go through an inspection and just look at the differences well how we do that is first off we have to select part one and then we have to under alignments look at...
