am pulling out the sweatshirts it feels like winter it is sprinkling he's supposed to get down to 52 degrees today so it's been kind of cold and chilly I just got a call from the school that Holly has pinkeye which is weird because [Music] which is weird because this morning there were no signs of pinkeye but she said that her teacher cetera and she said that her eyes were hurting and burning she's watched her for about thirty minutes and she has some gunk in them so not fun the day before school gets out but what do you do I am loading up the girls to go and grab Holly from school Marcus is gonna call in a prescription so that she doesn't pass it on anyone else I hope and we'll just go from there so I'll take you along with us so you guys when I got the call I was finishing my makeup and I'm starting to blow-dry my hair but I gotta run and get her so my hair is just in a wet hair don't care but look it is raining starting to rain and sprinkle out here so it's probably a good thing I didn't have time do my hair it's just gonna get wet so it's supposed to rain a lot more as the day goes on so we'll see if that happens just weird weather for me let me see Holly just picked up Holly her eyes do look really irritated come here okay so there's a little bit of gunk in that one there already [Music] she said that they started hurting last night shouldn't say anything this morning huh we got to keep our hands washed and not touch Livie or Stella okay cuz they're very contagious and we all get dad to call you in some drops okay are they eating okay try not to eat them with your fingers just itching with that tissue okay [Music] so what better thing to do when you're sick then get McDonald's right on this cold rainy day I didn't have time to feed Livie before we left and so get one free on Wednesday so I figure a perfect day how he didn't get to finish her lunch because their teacher made her throw the rest away and go to the health office so buy one get one free on Wednesdays through the McDonald's app there are some good deals all right so we just got home how I just washed your hands really bad I wonder if it's an allergy to something we're waiting to hear back from dad to see what he thinks it is but probably needs some rest so do you want to take a hot shower so you're just all fresh and clean yeah so I can definitely tell that Ellie does not feel good he's upstairs taking a nice hot shower I'm gonna try to get her to take a little nap just cuz she said she didn't sleep good last night cuz her eyes are hurting but seriously this morning when I saw her I could not tell that her eyes were red at all and she'd say words so I wonder if she just got something in him or she touched something they irritated them because it's really not the eyeball that's pink Marcus wants me to give her some benadryl claritin first because he doesn't think it's pinkeye either and we'll just go from there [Music] all right you guys so Libby Stella and Hallie are all sleeping right now well Holly's reading books but they're sleeping right now I'm gonna start dinner per everyone's request to show you what I'm making it's called sesame sesame honey chicken and it's a crock pot recipe with just a little bit of prep before so I'm gonna do that right now and show you what I do well here are the ingredients that we need to mix together to make the sauce to put on top of the chicken onion powder sriracha sauce some soy sauce rice vinegar I just have two here because this one is almost gone tomato paste and some honey so first I put chicken breasts in the crock pot and I did four chicken breasts it says for two pounds so I did four breasts and I'm just gonna season them with black pepper all right so we need a third cup of soy sauce now I'm doubling the sauce because I doubled the chicken breast and we like a lot of sauce next we need 1/2 cup of honey calls for 1/4 a cup but again I'm doubling the sauce 1/2 a cup of tomato paste which is about one of these little cans [Music] next is six tablespoons of rice wine vinegar - so I'm gonna do two more I forgot to show a main ingredient minced garlic and we need two teaspoons and then two tablespoons of water with two teaspoons of onion powder two teaspoons of the sriracha hot chilli sauce not quite doing a full second teaspoon just because I don't want it to be too hot for the kiddos okay next I'm going to stir this up and pour it over the chicken [Music] alright then you cook the chicken on low for three to four hours I'm just gonna do three hours because I got it in a little bit later my chicken was fully thawed and my crock-pot cooks a little bit more on the faster side so we're gonna do three hours and then remove the chicken shred it boil the sauce put the chicken back in the crock-pot and serve it over ice which I'll show you every step of the way [Music] are you filling Halle good you see your eyes they look a little bit better dad's coming home with some drops right to four hours so very often I'm gonna put a drop at the very inside of your eye and then we'll let it roll into the eye okay Hallie yeah it'll be fine it's just like water okay I already see another got to get him in it's just like water it's like if you get water in your eyes when you're swimming okay okay let's do the other eye and then you can just like watch a movie or something put it back and forth back and forth so we did it let's see what time is it quarter to six so we'll do it again before bed okay are you moving them around just kind of blink your eyes and move it back and forth you're okay you did good yeah you did good it's just like water and rice you want this cold rag back on him don't rub I'm okay so for bed [Music] oh very contagious so we just got to keep you away from stolen money what's wrong what are you missing tomorrow we'll be doing on the last day I don't know it well it's just a couple hours we can do our own fun things when you're feeling good okay you just can't I don't think you can go because it's very contagious so they will send you home even if I did let you go we'll see how you are in the morning though if all the goop is gone maybe you can go we'll have to ask dad how long the drops take to work usually it's a day so maybe if you're not gonna be in the morning maybe tomorrow night we could go do something fun okay we'll do something fun it's okay do you want this back on time you look at her blanket it's okay though you can't help when you get sick sometimes at least you're sick now and not next week right go go to Albania right so it's okay that's just two or three hours tomorrow at school so you're not gonna miss anything I think they're just doing your book stuff there's watching the movie so maybe we can go get a red box tomorrow and you can just watch somebody here with it okay it's okay though are your eyes feeling a little bit better okay do you want that right boys help yeah once your film there you can just put on a movie okay just relax [Music] are you in pain I drop it's just like water just some medicine okay why did it scare you why did it scare you well nothing nothing's gonna happen okay it's just like water that you get in your eyes when you go swimming okay but it has a little bit of medicine in it so that your eyes stop creating those eye boogers and they stop burning okay okay and they stop itching so those eyedrops are really gonna help they're not scary okay it's just like a little drop of water just like if you're going swimming and you get a little bit of water in your eyes okay drag off okay just rest here for a little bit kay [Music] right she got there hmm that was nice thing is she can't open her eyes though I can you're gonna read the movies to her oh she's just gonna rest right you guys so I got dinner going so I took the chicken breasts out right here and I have the sauce right here Oh Howie you feel a little bit better what's wrong they do to help you just go wait okay all right guys so sad just hurts my little mom heart to see my kids sick and there's that much I can do for her so she's just gonna put on a movie kind of take it easy rest we put the drops in you have to put them in every two to four hours so there's really not much more we can do at this point so I'm gonna finish up dinner and just kind of show you the rest of that and then I'll just keep going about the night and hopefully how they start to them a little bit better okay so here's all the sauce and then here's all the chicken so I'm going to shred this right now and then I turn the crock-pot too high now instead of low and then I'm going to combine a tablespoon of cornstarch and 1/4 a cup of water I'm going to mix together and then I'm gonna put back in the crock pot with the sauce to thicken it up bring it to a boil and then put the chicken back in I just added the cornstarch to the sauce all right my voice and now I'm just mixing it and I'm gonna this is on high right now so it's gonna come to a boil to thicken and then I'll put the chicken back in alright so then I covered the crock pot it's on high the cornstarch is mixed in and then this just has to thicken in 15 to 20 minutes so 30 but my crock pot only does minutes by 30 so I measure out the chicken and then put it back in when this comes to a boil all right so I got all four chicken breasts shredded and this chicken tastes yummy the sauce is still coming to a boil in there and little Stella one is a little appetizer I cut up these little people your say more beef she's 11 just the chicken and it's not too hot because it's just barely coated with that sauce bad news should I tell anyone oh yeah I lost my wedding band look you doesn't want to be married anymore my ring I lost after 10 years find it I think I know where it's at I just he dropped it in the gym parking lot you guys do you really think he's gonna find it pretty I know where I parked so I can go track down my steps I don't think it's truly lost we can't say it's truly lost yet because I think I know where it's at and go back and see if I can find it it's probably on the pavement somewhere in the parking lot I know where exactly where I park so have a whole mouthful stay please sit please Hey all right fellas still enjoying her chicken and the sauce is boiling a little bit now so I'm just gonna pour the shredded chicken back in the crock-pot stir it around we've got rice ready in the rice cooker I'm gonna heat up some asparagus cut up some strawberries and we will be ready to eat Martha's headed back to the gym to see if he could find those rings so we'll see if you have any look [Music] look so good see I'm really glad that I doubled the sauce just because I don't like dry chicken and it's just gonna be the perfect amount all right how is it tight really good Livie did you try it [Music] let me see you try the chicken look who's back so I went to go try to find a ring all right the wedding band that I lost ready to see if I found it Wow noggin boom boom so yes I found my ring I looked all around the parking spot where I parked and I could not find it I was looking in the on the streets the curbs I could not find it I was looking for some shiny I got out of the car looked around and walked around how people probably thought I was an idiot but before I got back in the van I decided to go inside the gym and ask if there was a lost and found and lo and behold they had a ready the wedding ring in the Lost & Found box I can't believe it I almost didn't even go in and ask [Music] so here it is ten and a half years in the making I'm gonna keep it for another ten years all right guys closing out the vlog how he's feeling a little bit better right I just looked a little bit better we did the drops again she survived right and it's a lot blurry not worried you know so she's gonna get some good rest and wake up feeling so much better huh I bet you'll feel great tomorrow me especially cuz
