Send customer radio
welcome to another installment of mega Wars for interface we're going to talk about the radio this time alright so you let us in the radio we've got some people talking down here and you'll notice after every one ship number there's an A and then of course you have the call in and what they said they're broadcasting on channel a there are four radio channels that you can talk to and they can be tuned to different frequencies so if I come over to my ship and I left click in the upper right hand corner up here you'll see channel a channel be sent on C and channel D forgot my alphabet there for a second alright so with that said we can tune our radio channels to different things so say tune space B comma a 33 and inner you'll see that now it gave a command and it came in tune B comma 33 and that allows us to listen on that channel at that point or talk on that channel so if we want to talk on that channel we would say be /o low and you'll see down here in the right hand corner it's 77 46b colon a low and that that allows us to transmit on that channel and if someone talks to us it'll come through on that channel okay now channels are important for a couple of things one is you have team a team channel so everybody on your team can talk to each other and there can't you know interference but one of the cool things about radio frequencies is their public so if you got on another team and you have a friend on the enemy team the enemy team guy could say hey turn to channel 33 and you can hear our team talking and planning our strategies and so you can then tune your channel but you don't want to talk that's my problem i always talked on the wrong channel without realizing it but if you tuned to that channel then you can listen to their strategies and all that and it can be a lot of fun because you really feel like you're smite buying on someone and doing something you're not supposed to and when you do that it's always extra fun ok channel a let's talk about that real quick channel a is very very important if I were to do for example i'm in orbit of this planet i can do an IM p and then a / or imp sorry 100 comma 100 / hello all right let's just say dude do you d all right that allows me to move my ship and fly but what it allows me to do at the same time you'll notice down here I said dude and that allows you to transmit on that channel so let's come back down to Planet see I'm going to right-click on it up here just come up to the bar up there and you just right-click and I'll take us into the orbit of that planet and what I want to do is 0 actually down here you'll see 1961 a Mac one inner space now that gets transmitted on channel a automatically so if I do an end at this at the system that'll take me out I don't want to end but but whenever i transmit enters and exits it comes out on channel a so most likely in a lot of cases what you want to do is you want to have your your team tuned to the same channel so tune and I'm gonna say B comma 40 full or sorry tune a comma 44 so now my channel a is going to take those enters and the exits and transmit it on frequency 44 at this point now that allows nobody else in public space to know that you've entered or exited space and makes it kind of cool that way so that you can see that communication the other thing is all channels except for one transmitted to all the other instances throughout the universe ok so if someone's playing in a classic war and you're playing in the iron war like we have right now two wars running if I transmit on any channel other than channel one you can see that in the other game now that makes it really convenient so if you have a friend that comes online and he's in the other game you can say you can talk to him and he doesn't have to be in the same game as you and if he needs some help you can listen to that and then go join him and that will allow for of a much more interactive time in the game alright that's it for radio channels ok so here again really really quick you come into the command bar type a slash dude and it transmits on channel a if you click on your ship you'll see channel a is tuned to the frequency of 444 channel B is 33 and then channel see and you can see everybody now is tucked in Chelsea which is channel one and it's channel 1 and channel two is out there on d so for radio channels that can be tuned to frequencies up to a hundred thousand send allows you to send a radio channel to another player so if I were to do is send Sen you know to put the d three characters work for all the commands at the end and then i'm going to send a ship one which is a dark helmet of course and i wouldn't send him five 5 1 1 1 enter and you'll see the command came up here and uh now i get a message so i'm going to go to dark helmet Sen 774 6 comma 99 ha now you'll see up here in this area right here in the in the ship log we're all the commands are coming through and you can see everything captain one request you to tune to 99 and you can see down here captain one request to tune to 99 so that allows me now to say tune channel B comma 99 now and in the teams that I have run of the things that we always did is we would use the radio to do sending messages secretly to each other yes it's a very secret thing and so before we went to 10,000 star systems we only had 20 48 and mega Wars net will only have two thousand forty-eight stars in each region and if a plant if you got in a tune a request attune to a channel of less than three thousand it was telling you to meet me at this because that would allow you to send a message privately to somebody else without anybody else knowing and you could sneak up on somebody and surprise them and so if you got a number that was more than 3,000 then you knew it was to tune the radio frequency to that so that's just a couple of things that I like to do and that is it for the radio sorry for forgetting and adding this little piece but hey let's keep moving forward all right Mike
