[Music] hi there its job from gimmicky give akise mission is to empower people like you who are doing amazing work in creating social impact in this video I will walk you through how to access your donor database the donor database tool was created to help social organizations inform and involve their donors by keeping your donors informed and involved you can give them even more reasons as to why they should love your mission the donor database tool will help you identify your best fans so that you can send them a super cool update or think them in a creative way who doesn't like a cool update or to receive a thank-you so let's dive right into it the first step to accessing your donor database is to access your charity dashboard you can access the charity dashboard by clicking on manage charity or going to the left-hand toolbar and click manage charity there clicking on manage charity will bring you to the charity dashboard on your charity dashboard go to the left-hand toolbar again and click on donors this will bring you to your donor database in the donor database you can see your donor names their emails the number of times they have donated lifetime value which is the total amount of their contributions the date in which they have first contributed and if they are recurring donor to see if their donations are coming through or not if they are coming through it will say active if not you'll be denoted as failed you can also filter for your best fans so for example the current filter is most times donated you can also filter for recurring donation status whether it's active failed or cancelled and you can also filter for lifetime value or times donated just input numbers into these fields you can also search for a donor email or name let's say one of your donors have a question as to whether their donation has gone through or not you can just simply type in their name or email address and you can confirm whether their donation has come through or not as well as the value let's say you want to convert an offline donor to an online donor if you would like to do that go to the add new recurring donor on the top right corner to add a new recurring donor just simply type in their name the amount their email their phone number the frequency and their credit card information or with their tax deductions their tax-deductible information that's all for now again my name is John Kim and I'll be your DVD companion if you have any questions or comments please drop us a line at support at give that Asia [Music]
