hello there in this video I'm still continuing on the theme about professional and formal emails this section involves me telling you about an email that is sent either as an urgent email which is priority as in high priority or low priority email or you can think of important and not so important okay you can actually set these when you're sending an email now if you look on your screens here I have an email that I'm composing to mr. ball to talk about a reminder for an ICT meeting if this email is very important I would like mr. ball to know that by choosing a certain option in my email client that actually tells people that this is a very important email you need to read this now it needs to be done within the next 24 hours okay you can't leave this for later now if I compose my email as normal as formal email and I move my mouse cursor and I click on this option box here you see it says set importance I can choose a high normal or low and I want us to focus on high and low okay forget about the normal for for just a second let's just talk about high and low so for this email if it's really important that mr. ball know about this meeting I will choose high and as you can see I have an exclamation mark a red exclamation mark come up now when I send this email to mr. ball this exclamation mark will show on his email client telling him that this is really important if the email is not so important of low importance I can once again click the options could you set importance I can choose normal and as you can see with normal it disappears it means you can answer this in a reasonable amount of time okay but it doesn't need to be done immediately or I can go back to the option box again go to setting' portents and I'll choose low importance and you can see that there is an arrow pointing down which tells me that this is not so important you can take your time to respond to this now I want you to look at this section of your screen here as you can see there are two emails here that I've sent the first one says very urgent and as you can see there's an exclamation mark here meaning this email missus claw machine mark here meaning that this email is very urgent now if I click it you can see it says here right here it says this message was sent with high importance right there in this section so you have to do you have to action it now now if I click on the second email at the top which I use with the low importance you see here it says this message was sent with low importance and that is what you use to notify people when you send them an email whether this email is really important it needs to be done now or this email can be waited upon you can do it in a reasonable amount of time ranging from 48 hours maybe to a week and that is predominantly how it works when sending the formal email now please go and answer the questions thank you very much
