back to the vlog well she always laughs when i say that i know we haven't put anything out there for like i think it's almost a week but we've just been going about our day guys nothing going on yet i've been pouring a ring um what has gone on we had a new dishwasher that's a joke yeah that's a joke i'm still done founded because um i don't get it i don't know it's still for sale and what i don't know what we're gonna do about it we they don't fit a standard plate dishwasher we bought yeah you can't stack a standard sized plate i'm talking a standard size plate is like if you went into say argos or asdas or yeah the standard size if you was to order a plate and you wanted it in a set that's what would size it would come but it won't fit in our dishwasher it won't stand straight the um spinny thing no just that's it have a look this is it ordered a new dishwasher right we're desperate guys the other one was old there was all sorts wrong with it the door was leaking the door wouldn't shut properly so we bought a new one and we thought wow that's great but look at this these are 27 centimeter plates right which is pretty much standard and watch what how stupid is that now on previous dishwashers we've had you can adjust this top rack but on this particular model you can't so is that ridiculous or what absolutely stupid that's a joke i actually can't believe it why not honestly i feel i i kept thinking we're doing something wrong doing something wrong we stacked in all directions all directions so now we either need to take it out and um we go from ao they said that we could him send it back another full refund which makes me think that other people have complained about that yes it's an issue um in our this is nothing to do with ao though because ao we've used ao a few times and they are really good yeah customer service is brilliant and they've even said after we've installed it they wanted to take 30 percent off mine didn't ten percent we were talking about three pounds they wanted to take ten percent offers to return it because they'd been impacted protected um yeah so um anyway they said they waiver that because obviously and we're existing customers and we bought other stuff and we're using intercept now we started using intercept craggy moses is that when we bought our first house didn't we yeah and that was what when coming when i was a baby 18 years ago yeah bought a washing machine then when we moved to the next house we had an integrated washer machine so my mum and dad had our washing machine because it wasn't that old it was silver and they thought oh we'll have a silver washing machine you know it's like when everything went to silver wouldn't it yeah so they had it off us and they've only just yeah replaced it yeah last year wasn't it yeah brilliant in the set the dishwashers i don't know what country they're made apparently they're owned by whirlpool um and hot point no they're not home by hot point it's a hot point let me google it i'm gonna google it now what the guy said to me do you want to swap it for a hot point one and i said no i won in the set and he said hot point is in the set is in the set owned by hotpoint [Music] just having a little chat with these guys a minute so what we've decided to do is scrap the plates we got and get a new dish that's stupid do you think that's stupid because the thing is like i don't i don't really want to send it back you know i've got to install it all and i know it's not a big deal like apart from that it seems really sturdy it does seem like a very good washer we've done one wash aren't we in it yeah they come off pretty good so yeah we're going to keep it we're going to go for square plates because we figured out that would be a better shape and smaller plates so good for your diet i guess yeah i know i'm not diet no maybe i don't know you look to me when you say good for your diet what else has been going on oh we went for a walk the other day down the island and they're doing some refurbishing work on the what shelter is it eastern shelter western show eastern shelter i think it's eastern shelter anyway they're doing work on one of the shelters down there so this is cordoned off and vans turning up when we were down there yeah so i don't know exactly what they're doing there but hopefully that footpath will get repaired because that is quite a hinder to us we do that's the way we would normally go now what else has happened i just looking in the corner there killed some daffodils oh yeah neighbor bought the daffodils for her because you do her shopping don't you yeah um yeah i got a fast but they were a bit the stems were a bit short on them so like the heads were only just poking out the top of the bar so i put some pebbles in the bottom of the bars and then as you do filter it with water and put the daffodils on top well pebbles killed the daffodils saul and can think yeah because they literally died overnight they come out and died yeah i don't know you don't put pebbles in daffodils that's common commonly known i don't know yeah i'm sure someone will let you know in the comments down below yeah what else we do homeschooling uh that's been going well we're in a routine yeah in a routine and um they don't pee the other day oh my gosh in the bedroom i was aching afterwards i thought the ceiling was gonna come down i don't know why that's a good idea i'm doing pe in the bedroom get the light down so she is again it's saturday morning was just a little bit of a chill out morning kai's going to work so he's not really chilling out he's going to work um but sash had an update yesterday and can now mix with one other household yeah uh for outdoor exercise yeah so basically we can go for a walk with someone else from another household so princess and i are gonna go call for a friend and they're gonna have a socially distanced walk yeah and there's poor in the ring absolutely she said i'm still going i don't care it doesn't matter the kids are waterproof that's what you said and they can go home and put their charms on which is true and then yeah have a nice warm bath when you get back too long since they've seen each other yeah so it's um so that's going to be really nice i spent my birthday money and everyone was saying do you really want to spend your birthday money on on this particular thing but i did yeah i did i spent it all the money which i had offered a little bit more yeah yeah but no because my vouchers i spent my my my vouchers after the lovely farmer family and my son jordan and chanel and i bought a cctv camera it says you had to confirm there's a light blinking i can't see you like blinking he's obsessed with that no i'm not obsessed with it you've been trying to do a review on it i'm not watching it all the time what it is i just she said yes you are i know what it is it's left to play and it just it'll come on if it picks something up so and i'm trying to get to the grips of it because i want to make a review on it and let you people know whether it's any good or whether you should invest in it because it is a reasonable price well you know what i'm like it's a reasonable reasonable priced camera and you can move it all with your phone and all that so yeah it's pretty good so far so good but uh i'll do a review on that because it's not all good so yeah well these things i would yeah let's go into that we're talking about that another time yeah what else ah shiny news i had a few things i wanted to say and i i it's completely good to write it down i don't write things down i stopped doing i stopped just don't do that now i've seen that um notepad the other day and they said that the biggest lie i tell myself is that i i will need to write it down i'll remember i don't know that's so true i worked for this company years ago i came straight out of school i went to college to do carpentry but then a couple of years after i qualified as a carpenter the building game just went i took a doubt a nosedive you know we had a recession so i ended up working for this company that does vending machines a vending company and i used to go around filling up and stocking vending machines and stuff which was you know it was an okay job many one brilliant but it was it was a job the thing was right you didn't have mobile phones back then right so what my boss would do he would ring a company which he knew i'd be going to at a certain time and leave a message for me to phone him back so i would phone him back and he would say oh can you do me a favor can you pop in such and such machines they've got a coin jam or something like that i would say yeah yeah no problem and i would always forget i would forget and he would say to me it's okay to have a bad memory he said the worst thing about having a bad memory is not realizing you've got a bad memory and then write everything down anna i still don't so dave i'm sorry about that man i still don't do it to this day what else has been going on here this is boring yeah it wasn't a mouse we thought we had a mouse we had this conversation with you last week but the audio wasn't on we had a full-blown conversation yeah we did guys about this what we thought was a mouse turned out to be a rat and we had to have pest control guy come in brilliant he was fair dudes he was good because when we thought it was the most one so bad was it but when we found out it was a rat i don't know i was a bit like that's like germs in it yeah so uh but it turns out we're on the end of a block of houses the rat was getting in a broken vent and the other end five houses done yeah and traveling through the uh what's it called the cavity walls said it's a big problem in the area at the moment we also a friend of ours a woman named member he also when he seen the video he messaged me straight away and said that he had the same problem and he said i think you'll find it's not a mouse it's a rat and it turns out that there's lots of problems with rats at the moment now i'm thinking right that is where they're doing the work down the waterfront the old dock and they're digging it up i reckon they're disrupting the nests because it's always been riddled with rats down there and they're finding elsewhere to go yeah so it was a rat it was straight away within a few hours it was caught and he got rid of it and we haven't heard nothing since no from where he was getting into he put a trap to catch it either coming in or out because he said if you block that hole up and it's still in you it's going to need to get out so it's going to cause you more problems but yeah we did good in just getting past controlling because it like prompted dominion yeah it did because she'd seen the vine and look because it was a bit like oh can you believe he's got his button sign right now everyone knows who you know it was quite i don't know i just felt a bit shame yeah that having pest control or like with some sort of like even then we thought it was a mouse so yeah so yeah no turns out it was a rat problem solved fair deuce brilliant i'm thinking that's all that's happened this weekend oh the wash water oh yeah we've had the water boards digging up the road outside for the second time same spot they dig it up they didn't do what they were supposed to have done and then they put it back down and they dug it up again and um it's all back together now but yeah it's done that result but i i don't think we've got anything else to say i'm sorry sorry guys it's just been really boring yeah i know but things are looking up finally the vaccine's out and yeah hopefully um a you know a sign of things being eased and there's like something at the end of the tunnel with somebody else from a different domain i'll get back to our vlogging yeah and um yeah and we just started to make plans and like we haven't even got anything planned but we would even say that the other day when we about it'd be nice just to make plans to have something to look forward to because yeah it's like everything's the same in that i'm this lockdown is for at least another three weeks now yeah but you can we can mix with one other householder outdoors to exercise that's good yeah it's good but in our area so like i can't go and see myself no i still can't see your mom and dad i can't i haven't seen my mum since christmas before christmas when did i see my mom i didn't even see a christmas day didn't i outside on kai's birthday oh yeah that's right it was outside guy's birthday so yeah mom i miss you it's horrible you know i do speak to it on the phone but it's desirable it is i'm even missing my mother-in-law do you know what i mean now you know things are bad when you're missing your mother-in-law don't you no guys i'm sorry i've got nothing more exciting to tell you as soon as this weather eases up we'll get back out and about i'll take you down and see what's new down the fair everywhere to let the next year doing nothing um but you've stuck with us and things are going to get back to that guys we're going to go back to that we're going to be we're going to be doing cool stuff again yeah they're probably sicker reviews and stuff you've bought they're showing them yeah but you know when i buy something that's the only thing i've got to tell you it's true i can't i
