hi I'm Tony explore crypto Channel and in this video we'll be speaking about the bathroom senticles that patreon service for creators and so this particular video about little pattern is based on my previous video about its PI server so the requirement for running your own department is to have your own Mississippi server instance so I'm showing it in my previous video it's it's very simple is similarities of it in this video because I also bought my own domain in Google domains so I mean my Google domains dashboard and now I want to manage my domain Tony Sanneh calm because we will be setting up our DNS to the BTC PI server so I'm going to the top DNS and all my guna note none of these the hosting service for my BT space however I was explaining it in the previous video I'm copying external IP which is like 175 and and that's 17 now we want to create some kind of link between our our BTC PI server our luna node and our domain Tony Sanneh calm so I'm creating custom DNS called patron with the IP of of this domain it's the a-class sub domain so the whole domain will be Patran that Tony Sanneh calm because patron is like a sub domain of my main domain Panasonic and if it's created how now I'm showing because I also made a mistake previously using this custom sub domain subdomain option and it wasn't running properly so if you are going to do it please use the type a sub domain as I did not use the custom Google sub domain system because in some way it didn't link my DNS properly so I didn't I don't know what happened I'm not the best of networking but but yeah just use the type a subdomain and now we want to go login into our PI server because we have to set up our deeper patron it's like an atom to the bit spacer rights it's additional software on top of it I already highlighted my IP so I will be logging using this particular IP the same IP that I set up Tiana's with so now we also need some credentials because we will be login using SSH I will show patreon you are just giving out your your credit card information so we've credit card there is possibility of doing like pull pull the money request from your from your account so the the server platform can pull young money from like your account if you are if you are a user of it but in terms of Bitcoin there is no way of putting Bitcoin out of somebody's account there is only a way to to basically initiate transactions by yourself so if you want to teach somebody else you have to do it manually every time so that's why we need to set set up email because users will be able to basically login us with their email address and they will get like monthly notifications about about the need of paying the create or paying some people so this is the settle right now of course like with Bitcoin it's not as easy as as it should be but I think we are we are getting there but it still still like but rather than using some custodial services so so yeah you can you can set up your email personally I felt this tab I I don't know what I did wrong I spent like almost died trying to hang to troubleshoot it if I if I get any answer how to do it properly I will get get this information in the next video or create some kind of plug into this video or post it on my Twitter and like some small tweet video twit or something like that because probably it's very easy but I think I've made a huge mistake with with this email setup and I just can't use it right now but yeah other than that it works so so my new pattern is set up so we will be heading to the price levels right now because we want to set up some price levels for our users like there are some people that want to pay one dollar a month there are some people that want to pay ten or even $100 per month so I'll be showing that in this particular moment so we are I'm creating four different four different layers of payment like $1 $5 $10 and $100 and also in my BTC paste or I said of the BTC paste or in the way that I think it's it's requesting users to pay with lightning below five dollars worth of transactions so so yeah I will be sure in a second but but if the transaction is $5 or less my personal BTC PI server is requesting like Inc network transactions so let's move to how it looks like so this is our Libre pattern basically the website in which you can prove your your content you can create your own blog in this particular website you can basically edit everything using HTML some markdown or something like that so you can edit the home page you can add your picture you can say what are you doing like I would say I am creator and I'm doing videos on YouTube in the subscriptions which is the most important part there is the there are the support levels so if the user want to support you there are those support levels that I would showing you oh yeah so as we can see $1 $5 $10 $100 and I will create to show you the angles to to be try to basically confirm that it's connected with participate server so as you can see we've got the invoice we've got the node info and yeah there is a QR code you can copied there is amount in Satoshi's and pay with Bitcoin like in BTC so it's cool and let's go back and now in the $100 option there is only a way to pay with Bitcoin because it's a substantial amount of course we can see the the QR code as well some more information transactions and cetera so some other is the result is in folder from the PVC pipe but as I said on the home page we can edit it we can add some some custom text we can add some graphics we can basically customize it in anyway so we can add our own CSS we can modify this Libre patron in any way we we basically can I'm not the front-end person so I won't be playing with that too much but I am just showing you that that it's possible and you can customize it you can you can in the update tab you can basically post your own post like every time you are pushing the new video you can add some kind of post posting there may be some information only for your for your backgrounds or something like that you guys can can choose whatever you like what however you like to use it and I know it's still like in very I would say in beta version but but still it works you can add some some comment option you can also connect it to the square which is more like traditional payment
