hi there chase from high level here and in this high level how-to we're talking about a quick little trick to pre-populate text message bodies this is really interesting in scenarios where you really want to control the message that you're getting back because if you know what you're going to get back you can have a trigger that's waiting for that specific thing to then go fire some actions off right so what do i mean by that let's take a quick look at an example i just set up really quickly i'll open up my phone here okay so here's a little demo landing page imagine i drove somebody to this page with some sort of ad or something like that and they get here and you can see i have two different offers alpha and beta so let's see what happens when i click one of these so i'm going to say click here to claim beta it opened up messages the text message app on my iphone you can see the two number here that would be your twilio number and i've pre-programmed the message that i want them to send yes i want promo beta and i even put a claim code with a number in there so then i could build a trigger right that is looking for you know contains promo code 66 and then i can go fire off campaigns or do whatever i want to do if i go back to the landing page and i click claim promo alpha we can see the offer changes and now i've got claim code 55 so again i can have a trigger waiting for that claim 55 to go fire off whatever actions i'd like so let's take a quick look at how i set that up it's actually really easy so these are just links and over here we can see the link that i made so basically all you have to do is put this in as your link sms ampersand body equals and then whatever you want the body to be if you're making a hyperlink you'd use this whole thing but if you're doing it like i did you would just copy this and then you'd take it over here you can see if i hover over it you can see it's there already but let's just um remove it and then i'll add it again so i just copied uh highlighted all that hit link pasted that hit enter and that's all you need to do so pretty cool i'm sure you can come up with all sorts of cool ways to do this but i thought it was a really interesting way to control the message that you're getting back make it really easy for somebody to claim something via sms with a pre-programmed message [Music]
