in this video we'll take a look at how to send an e pack using quick workflow a quick workflow is a one-time use workflow let's go to the compose page to compose a single a pack on the compose page you'll see that a quick workflow has already started for me I simply need to choose the type of signature I need your list of choices might be different than what you see here on my screen depending on your specific configuration choose to contract the policy that's appropriate for your document you can set an expiration date by default it's set to be the same as the retention date as a state draws closer the system will start sending out reminder emails in the days leading up to the date here if you want to have those reminders go sooner you can set an earlier expiration date I'll set it to be next Friday now you can add a subject and now we'll define our workflow States by default assign state is here for you you can simply add signers to this state and finish composing your a pack if you need to you can add additional states as well you can create complex workflows here and if you want more information about workflows you can check out our how to create a workflow template video which goes more into more detail about how to use additional States will keep this one simple I'm just going to add a single signer here now let's attach our document upload the document and now we can prepare our document for signature simply drag-and-drop the tags onto the document in the desired locations here I need my signer name and I need the date of birth so I'm going to use signer text and as I'm dragging and dropping these I can click on them and resize them and reposition them as desired simply click on them and resize them at the bottom I need a signature and a date/time stamp so I'm going to drag those two tags and again you can resize these and reposition them as you go along at the bottom I can add CC users if I add any they'll receive an email notification once all of the signatures are complete I can add keyword tags using the add tags and I can also add special instructions if I add any special instructions that will be inserted into the email that goes out to my signatory all of these items in the bottom are optional they're not required we can go ahead and send this back so that's how easy it is to send an e pack using quick workflow
