hey guys this is bill with notary coach comm today I want to just share with you one of the ways that I kind of have carved a niche out for myself and separated myself from a lot of the other signing agents in my area and that is my willingness to return documents in a timely manner meaning that I'll actually drive across town across the county almost sometimes to deliver documents after I have them signed if you're like me that probably sounds like common sense like just one of those things you might do but the way this industry works is most signing agents don't do that so they are only willing to maybe drive and drop off at the nearest FedEx drop box or UPS store and have them even if it's in the same city that's all they're willing to do so that didn't make a whole lot of sense to me for me as a sense of pragmas a level of customer service I think the documents should be delivered right away right after signing so that has proven to be a huge asset for me in my business because I work with a lot with purchases and then purchase transactions those documents are very often extremely time-sensitive so people are signing at 8 o'clock in the morning and they're expecting their keys by noon or by 5 o'clock at the latest that day so it's real important that the documents get back by offering that service these title companies can then use utilize mobile notaries my services more than they might typically typically because there is such a time sensitivity they'll just require that the buyers come to the title office and sign there that's missed business for us on any notary so I've gained a lot more business by been willingness to view them on top of that I get a premium price for those findings there sometimes it's only 150 some of my escrow officers clients will actually charge two or three hundred dollars for their service just because I guarantee that I can get the documents back and I build that into my day and into the logistics on how to make that all work and it works out wonderful I mean sometimes I have to use a courier sometimes they have to call in some support from the team that I have here but for the most part that really works out great so definitely consider that as you're building your business and just know that when you're communicating with potential prospects or potential customers and clients that document delivery might be a way that you can really set yourself apart from other signing agents in your area the other thing I want to say to that guys and the reason that that came up today is that I have a awesome client where you know there's four or five escrow officers working in that office I really only have the business of three of them and just today I finally got an opportunity to work with one of the other escrow officers because the other escrow officers my clients in her office were telling her that I guarantee document delivery right after the signing so she branched out we had a conversation about how that would work so I get my first chance to work with her today so that's that's huge guide and that's keep that in mind as you're building your business as well as that even these title companies where you work and you get approved and you you're networking and building a relationship with one escrow officer in an office that one escrow officer has the power to of course use your business but there if there's three or four ten or fifteen and some of those bigger offices of escrow officers they each one of those is a new potential client so you can expand just have one office and have three or four escrow officers that will keep you busy that's pretty exciting it can be a little frustrating too because you you work hard to get your foot in the door in one place and it's really only one escrow officer that you're working with but it's really just a matter of your perspective if you see that as an opportunity to really each escrow officer is essentially their own business and you can just focus on building relationships with them thank you very much guys this is bill with notary coach comm I hope that's helpful to you if you'd like to help me out please make comments and like the video below thank you have a great day
