hey everyone it's matt all right we need to talk about this so you've heard about this right 2 000 per month survival checks yeah that's what we're going to be talking about in this video if you it so let's talk about this what is all of this madness about these two thousand dollar monthly survival checks maybe you've seen articles about this or maybe you've seen other videos here on youtube saying oh my gosh it's coming two thousand dollars well let's talk about it and let's discuss all of the facts that we actually have on this all right so a group of over 50 house representatives came together in a signed letter that they submitted to the biden and harris administration so what they're doing in this letter is they're basically calling on more stimulus checks now in the letter they did not specifically specify the two thousand dollars per month however we do have further evidence on that here in just a second which i'll discuss which leads us to believe the two thousand dollar number that's how we're getting that so they said in this letter one more check is not enough during this public health and economic crisis at the same time they went on to say in the letter most families cannot afford to wait eight months between payments you know when i when i read that i thought really eight months and then i did the math and it's like wow it actually was eight months between the first stimulus check and the second one let's think about this just a second the first one was approved in late march and the first wave of those payments went out in mid-april of the majority of people received their payments in mid to late april so let's just call it mid-april mid-april to late december is eight months let's call it a little over eight months eight and a half months from the time the first payment went out until the second one that's a long long time that's a really long time between payments now let's put that into perspective just for fun just for giggles just for a second it's really not giggles it's more irritating than anything but let's just talk about it if we receive this last stimulus check the 600 bucks in let's just call it late december let's just call it january 1st where would that put us that would put us in basically early september by the time we would receive the next one raise your hand if you can survive in your current state as you currently are right now with no additional stimulus checks for the next eight months yeah i don't think you need to raise your hand i know that basically everybody watching this video is probably raising their hand right now that that would not be a good situation right yeah not good so they actually made a pretty good point in the letter that most people can't afford to wait eight months between payments yep i would actually agree with that that is absolutely very true so now where is this two thousand dollar number coming from well one of the representatives said a one-time payment of two thousand dollars is not enough she went on to say she's urging the biden and harris administration to include monthly survival checks in their next economic relief plan so that's the tweet that she sent out now she did not specifically say hey we're calling on you to offer two thousand dollar per month stimulus checks or survival checks as what they're calling it however she basically said in this tweet that hey two thousand dollars one time is simply not going to cut it and let's be real it's not even two thousand dollars right everybody well let me take that back not everybody has received the six hundred dollars yet but the majority of the people have still rece have already received the six hundred dollars and they'll be waiting on the fourteen hundred dollars that they're still kind of dangling as like the carrot out in front of us right now right they're still talking about this fourteen hundred bucks so it's not even like two thousand dollars and let's be real once again let's raise our hands how many people had that six hundred dollars spent before you even received it on utilities rent food groceries um you name it gas for your car back pass past due bills or anything like that i mean realistically i'm pretty sure everybody had that 600 spent before we even received it and for those of you who are still waiting truly i feel incredibly bad for you i mean i don't know i mean i've talked about it in other videos it's just it's so incredibly frustrating that you received your first payment and now you're still waiting for your 600 bucks and in some cases for those of you who had to re file a 2020 tax return in order to receive or claim the 600 bucks unfortunately you're gonna be waiting a few more weeks even that's really unfortunate so it's really like my heart goes out to you because that is so frustrating when you were supposed to get that money a month ago like a month ago seriously you should have that money a month ago either way i've talked about that in other videos but so again i want to reiterate this is not a thing yet i know you've probably seen articles you've probably seen other youtube videos saying here it is oh my gosh we're getting two grand no we're not not yet it has not been approved however here's one thing i do want to say okay so remember the two thousand dollar stimulus check well of course you do everybody remembers the two thousand dollar stimulus check right this whole idea where did it originally come from it actually originally came from president trump at the time remember that he sent out was it a tweet or the video first honestly i'm not sure what he sent out first either was either a tweet or he sent out that video first calling on two thousand dollar stimulus checks he was one of the two but that was where the original two thousand dollar stimulus check idea came from was from him and then everybody kind of jumped on board with that idea and said yeah we like the two grand idea let's run with it and that's where we are now right so we're now sitting on this two thousand dollar stimulus check idea again it's you know it's it's a little bit deceiving because everybody already got the the 600 and then a lot of people are we're all still waiting for the 1400 to make it the 2000 so it's still deceiving to say 2 000 but my point with that is the original idea came from president trump saying two thousand dollars everybody jumped on the bandwagon and kind of took that idea and now here we are sitting with the two thousand dollars waiting for the extra 1400 bucks so my point is even though they're calling on two thousand dollar monthly survival checks and right now a lot of people are saying yeah good luck it's not happening you know that's how a lot of people were saying with the original two thousand dollars and guess what here we are so we can't really write this thing off yet but at the same time i certainly don't want to get your hopes up and say yeah it's coming for sure because i i think that would be ignorant to say that yes for sure it's coming i would say let's more lean on the side of no it's definitely probably not coming if it does it would be amazing and it would help out so many so many people but i think we should more lean on the side of caution saying let's not count on it really let's not count our chickens right some of you like that analogy really let's not count our chickens yet and let's kind of let this thing get a little bit more momentum like i said this original was this original letter was backed by 50 plus house representatives okay you know we've seen proposals like this before great right we've seen a lot of people come in and back all these big ideas and proposals like this and then they go nowhere so i'm not saying it's going to happen and i'm not saying it's not going to happen either way i wanted to bring you this information to let you know what are the facts right what are the facts it's basically a group of people throwing out this letter to the administration saying hey let's do this we need survival checks people cannot wait eight more months to get another check and i think all of us agree yeah you're right eight months would be absolutely ridiculous at that point once again it's too little too late i feel like most people already feel that way here we are basically we can just call it february because we're basically in february almost and i think many people could probably say yeah it's once again too little way way way too late right so either way that's where this whole thing is coming out about so if you see videos or you see articles saying yeah two thousand dollars you know don't get freaked out yet um you know nothing's been approved yet it's still all just in this idea proposal phase but you know what that's where things start they start in the idea phase it starts as an idea right some one person has a great idea they all band together and they they form this group of 50 people and they all have a great idea right that's how things start though that's where bills kind of start is they have to start as an idea first from there they can move on into action or go nowhere right so either way i know a lot of you have been leaving comments down below asking about this is it real is it not is it happening is it not what's going on with it so here's what you have i mean this is what we're dealing with right now i'll continue to keep an eye on it and i'll watch it if it gets any momentum if it continues moving from here we don't really know but i will certainly
