hey Zen Lord this is a short video on how to add a charge to a tenant account first we go over to a left-hand sidebar and click on accounts this will bring up all the tenant accounts that you have in the system each account equals one lease so as you can see I have a triplex and a duplex on my system so I have five accounts one for each lease let's run through the scenario that mr. test has lost his keys to add a charge and to view his account we click on the plus or the dollar sign excuse me under account from here we can see that he has no current balance but we need to add the new charge so we click on the red new charge button and from here we fill out the drop down menu we can say the category is lost keys and for the lease agreement losing your keys is a $115 charge and send him a text and send an email has a notification that you're adding this charge to their account and then you can click create as do this that are now notified that they have a charge on their account in the amount of $115 they can pay this in a variety of ways the simplest and easiest way is for them to log in to their sin Lord Pro 10 an account from there they can pay via ACH or credit card or if for some reason they paid you outside of Zen Lord Pro either via venmo cash or a check you can then reflect that by logging in to this same area right here and you can click new payment to show that you have received the payment you can click the date say the payment method maybe it was cash and you can even click who gave it to you mr. tenant you can send a text or an email again to them to notify them that you've received the payment and then click create and as you can see it is now paid and they have a balance of zero awesome
