will be a hundred years old but still a very very capable radio it does a lot of features and E star under it is is fairly easy it's kind of a mix between the old way of doing D star and the new way of doing D star they do have a lot of the newer features so you can plug in a new star Revere or in my case what I like to do is set up a hotspot and just like a repeater and just pull the radio into believing that it's a repeater so once I do that then you can use the you can use the opening on here you could use a bunch of the features of the radio to to move around and hang on I gotta get rid of that phone you could use the features in the radio to move around do all the commands linking and hung linking and and doing information checks all that stuff you do still have to remember when you're programming it that you have those eight characters and it's like like an re half zero zero zero what is a zero three zero Charlie link and you got to put that L command in there to link it to whatever you want it wherever you want to go like 30 charlie or whatever let it drop
