well anyone who's spent time in downtown Halifax knows parking can be real struggle nobody knows that better than a little boy who may be the youngest recipient of a parking ticket ever his father snapped a priceless picture of the incident and now it's gone viral CTV's Matt Woodman introduces us to a three year old who fought the law with the law one it's a familiar sight and sound on the hellofax waterfront all too familiar for constable Sean curry part of my jobs in the waterfront is Public Safety and part of it was just keeping the circle clear for emergency vehicles a lot of the motorcyclists like to come down and park down here it's a big reason you'll spot three-year-old Declan tram lake cruising the boardwalk it's one of his favorite places to explore there's people to meet shops to check out but his favorite attraction is the motorcycles accompanied by his parents Declan loves to ride down on his bike toss on his leather jacket even mingle with his fellow bikers his dad moreso brings him down to see the bikes and stuff you know once every couple weeks that's when Declan had his first run-in with the law he parked his bike just like the other motorcycles would and he walked away and we thought it would be funny if I went over and just pretend to write a parking ticket police officer went over and started pretending to write him a ticket and pitches were taking me and kind away from there once declan's father snapped the picture he sent it to the Halifax Regional Police who jumped at the opportunity to post it on social media so for our reaction to the picture has been overwhelming I never thought it would explode I mean I was looking on like different radio stations Facebook pages and everywhere it's just everywhere it's nice to show the different sides of police you know we're not always the ones making the arrests and hauling people away we're just normal like everybody else and we do like to have fun the picture received hundreds of retweets and favorites on Twitter and the HRP Facebook post has reached over four hundred and forty thousand people he loves this ticket yeah tried to go to sleep with this ticket actually it's safe to say though okay he won't be so pleased years from now when he receives his first actual parking ticket and has to dish out the cash to pay for it Matt Woodman CTV News Halifax I I think he has about five days left to pay the $25 minimum or it goes up yeah teaching mr.
